Recently I've been trying to get my stream up and running
I downloaded xplit, I selected screen region and selected the whole screen
It works fine and streams fine to justin.tv until I go into starcraft
Viewers are then shown that the stream is offline
I do know justin/twitch are having issues as there have been all sorts of stuff going on with this for a while. But anyway here are a few things you can try until you can get on skype with someone and test it.
Go into your justin.tv settings and change it to use twitch as this is the site usd for game streams and seems to work better that way.
Run starcraft in windowed mode and check that xsplit is still broadcasting when viewers are saying its offline.
Check that your bandwidth is sufficient, run speedtest and make sure its at least over 800kbps to your closest server, and that you use no more than 500kbps
This may/maynot fix your issue but will eliminate some causes. Add me on skype under Flamga and when im online I will help
Menu --> Options --> Under Graphics, drop down menu labelled 'Display Mode' and then select Windowed or Windowed (Fullscreen) depending on what you're after.
Bumping the thread because i dont want to start ANOTHER xsplit thread. So pretty much i stream a bit n stuff but i find myself not wanting to stream cauz the game feels slower or ever so SLIGHTLY laggy in a frame rate sense, is this purely because my graphics card isnt good enough? Currently using i-7 2600, 8 gig ram, ati radeon 4550 (i think, these numbers of the top of my head), so yeh, was wondering if i should upgrade my graphics card then? THANKS GUYTTHHHHSSS
I thought that it was to do with the processor? If your finding the game lagging, just drop the resolution a bit and put the frame rate at 24 (if it isnt already) this worked for me!

My stream is lagging quite badly What should I put the resolution down to? At the moment its 1280x720.

Simplest answer here is your computer's specs are significantly better than your graphics card, so I'd suggest definitely upgrading your graphics card. It will smooth out your game more regardless of whether you're streaming or not. ^_^ Generally that's not because of your graphics card, but I have basically the same specs as you except my graphics card is a lot better and I don't have that problem at all..

my res is 1088x612 and when (for whatever reason) I'm lagging I drop it down to 960x540. Also try what I said in another thread of changing the "location" from default to "Asia Backup".
ermm i think if my memory serves me my resolution is at 1024/768 atleast in game not sure about my xsplit settings, ill try changing my location as well. if that still doesnt work ill just buy new graphics card ^_^
