Howdy ho,

We're going to organize a LAN in Singapore on the 11th December. The LAN will be at Mystery Box Gaming Club (http://www.facebook.com/mysteryboxgaming?sk=info)

Important information

Date: Sunday 11th December
Time: Kick-off at 11AM.
Venue: Mystery Box Gaming Club, Golden Wall Centre, 89 Short Street #B1-14/15/16/17, Singapore, Singapore S188216
League: Open for all
Number of players: 32 to 48
Format: Double-elimination, BO3 upper bracket, BO1 looser bracket. If more than 32 players, the top players on ladder will be seeded directly to round 32.
Entry fee: 15SGD for 4 hours of gaming guaranteed (even if you got kicked out, we'll make a loser bracket)

Here is the list of map for the first set of games.

1st Round: GSL Dual Sight
2nd Round: GSL Daybreak
3rd Round: MLG Shattered Temple
4th Round: MLG Metalopolis
5th Round: MLG Xel Naga Caverns
Semi finals: Antiga Shipyard
Final (BO5): MLG Shakuras Plateau

Lower brackets:
1st Round: GSL Daybreak
2nd Round: GSL Dual Sight
3rd Round: MLG Metalopolis
4th Round: MLG Shattered Temple
5th Round: Antiga Shipyard
6th Round: MLG Xel Naga Caverns
7th Round: MLG Shakuras Plateau
8th Round: Tal'darim Altar LE

Map pool for other sets: GSL Dual Sight, GSL Daybreak, MLG Metalopolis, Antiga Shipyard, Shakuras Plateau, The Shattered Temple, Tal'darim Altar LE, Xel'Naga Caverns.

Every players getting 1 veto for second and third sets.

Prizes

The prizes described here are subject to change (get bigger if we get 48 players)

1st : 200SGD + fame . Gentle reminder, money+fame=women
2nd: 100 SGD
3rd-4th: 50 SGD
5th-8th: 15 SGD

How to register?

Just post in this thread your in-game name and your character code
eg: TCPfrogmite.365
We booked the place for 32 players, but if there are more people interested, we can accept up to 48 players.

Other informations

Players will be allowed to bring their own equipment (mouse, mousepad, keyboard, headset etc). The computers are more than capable of running StarCraft II at it's highest settings. If you plan to bring more than one USB peripherical (=mouse+keyboard) then you'll need to bring USB extensions.

If someone is interested to take some photos of the event, you're welcome!

It's the first LAN in Singapore i organize (Huge thanks to Phoenix for the help you're so cool, and sexy), if you have some comments concerning the format, the prizes, the map pool let me know, there will be more LAN coming soon so any comments are welcome

The entry fee of 15SGD allows you to plays for 4 hours

The Upper Brackets is BO3 and there will be a loser brackets BO1.

So even if you lose all your games you will at least play 3 games for the competition

Yeah it's double elimination, with BO3 for upper brackets, and BO1 for lower brackets.

I will modifiy the OP tomorrow as the prize pool will be extended to cover the quarter-finals as well

I removed Abyssal Caverns and Nerazym Crypts from the map pool due to popular demand

I replaced Nerazym Crypts by MLG Shattered Temple for RO16.

I will also update the map set for lower bracket tonight.

See you tomorrow for a mighty LAN time.
