Congrats to the winner of the $100 Grudge match! Replays can be downloaded here. Thanks to Benji for hosting the games and streaming them. Now the big question is... SEA FIGHT #2 WHO!?!?!?
What: $100 "Grudge Match" Date: Sunday, 30th October 12noon Singapore, 2PM Brisbane, 3PM Sydney (Daylight Savings is back!) Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/benjisc2 (shot gunned 10 mins after i posted this haha) Format: Bo5, Based on WCG Map Pools with Vetoes
This is a really interesting series of events which first developed from Light's Blog. Basically Azz claimed he was the best player on that day and should have won at WCG Brisbane if not for the unfortunate technical issues, and welcomed anyone who was there on that day to challenge him to prove him wrong. PiG being the hero that he is accepted. You can read the full drama in the comments there http://www.sc2sea.com/blogs/showentry.php?e=162
How it will be done: Azz has already sent me the $50 PiG will no doubt send me $50 soon as well
I shall serve as the Escrow and the winner will get the $100(minus paypal transactions).

The Players:
Both of them are no doubt top tier players SEA players, as well as TGM coaches and well known / outspoken members of the community. Although there isn't any actual bitterness or rivalry at all between them, this match will sort off give credit to Azz's claim if he wins that he was the best player in Brisbane that day. And if he losses, well it won't make him look very good!
Anyway props to Azz for sticking by his words and instantly sending me the money upon PiGs acceptance, and of course PiG who volunteered himself as the challenger! So thanks to both players for doing this and I hope we have an exciting show match next Sunday. If this goes well I may turn this into a weekly series where players can challenge each other for their own money, because it is not only the money at stake, there is ALOT of pride and more importantly, being a $100 event allows the event to be added on the TL calender.
Why does Azz's picture always have to remind me of Luke... ( makes him look like a badass though )
Anyways, GL both players, but I gotta root for PiG in this one
Protoss is a pretty bad race, so there's a very low chance he will win without a gimmicky play.
Zerg on the other hand, is a pretty good race (not QUITE as good as Terran), so it heavily favours him in this matchup.
Gonna have to go for Azz though, he can provide hope for other Protoss out there.
Yea, your boy Bangs,
and this track is dedicated to all the ladies
out there who like to go to da Movies,
you know specially you girl
Let me take you to da movies, shawty,
I’m sure later on you will be my baby
Let’s sit down and just be by my side,
I got the popcorn, I know what else you like.
Mr. Kilpatrick, The builds you've just done are some of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen. At no point in your rambling, incoherent attempt at sc2 were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on the stream is now dumber for having watched it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Hmm that was pretty one sided in all those games. I would have liked to see Azz play a bit less gimmicky, he loves getting lots of tech early which didn't quite work out unfortunately.
it's not SEA's fault we can't understand why more protoss players don't build a cyber core until 6 minutes, refuse to get gas and randomly block your own stalkers with proxy cannons in the middle of the map while forgetting about blink.
Azz had a chance at this one point in the game where he had a nexus and 6 probes. But he found a way to **** it up from there 3 times in a row. Well played Azz!
