Just wondering how do I change my picture so that when I post it's not an ugly larvae > :P

You have to post more. Think of it as achievement portraits, when you get xx posts you get a new one, etc.

Yeah as crAzerk said post more. Each 5 posts is one new portrait, and the units slowly get "better". Then after a while it becomes one every 10 posts, one every 20 posts and so on.

We need a function to change our portrait to anything that is the same or below our post count. For example I want the Drone pic back but I am stuck with what I have.

Allowing people to change their icons back to a portrait that they have previously acquired sounds like a valid suggestion. I will have words with nirvana.

Portrait feature is super cool... if you did go back to review it and add feature to select older images, how about an option to specify the race of your portraits? I dont think you'd need to unlock em any faster but I'd probably rather be a probe than a maurader

Since it's the topic of the moment I'll take the chance as well to say this is pretty cool forum software. Noclue how much of it comes out of the box but the reputation, achievements and portrait unlocks is so so cool and of course so relevant to sc2 forum.. love your work

here you can see the full list of what you will morph into.

this was done with the help of jaczie btw who painstakingly cropped / edited all the avatars, getting rid of the ugly looking ones. it has not been touched since then, almost 8 months ago so any feedback or stuff to add in can be considered.

most likely will not allow people to pick their own avatars, maybe only if they reach like 500 posts then they can choose from what they have earned already, so it means something. idk, will consider any suggestions. definitely have to fill up the 1000>2000 gap sometime soon cause at that time no one was getting near that number of posts.

and maybe i have to rework the medal system which is based on reputation points, everyone has medals these days! like i should make them harder to get, right now its once every 125 points.

admins, and mods have their own specialised avatars drawn for them.

MVPs (frogmite, nemo, erasmus etc) as well as normal members who have contributed to a certain extent to the community can pick their own avatars. (cute, pinder. )

Rank system has been reworked. From now on you can CHOOSE your own avatar after earning it, and it depends in your post count as shown in the pic above. if you dont choose any avatar the ugly larva will be displayed!
