SC2SEA Tee Shirt Winner!

Congrats to

Welshy for winning the sc2sea Tee Shirt design contest! And a huge thanks to him for taking the time to create the design and then come up with all the different variations you can see here.

. I would also like to thank all the other contest participants who took the time to create their design, with the other most notable mentions being Doctor and TAsCarLet who finished next highest in votes.

We are now in the process of the final refinement and and we intend to place a bulk order of the most popular design chosen by you! Help be a part of the creation of our very first Tee! Although there is no difference in price between the colors, by voting you can help us determine accurately the quantity to order for each color as well as determine the design with the placement of the seahorse, flag and game tag. If you intend to buy tees in multiple colors feel free to choose more than one color.

Tee Shirts aimed to be priced under $16.90 AUD before shipping, I'll have to check with more suppliers before deciding the final price. The first supplier I saw was cheap but didn't have such good quality so I declined to make an offer. I want our Tee Shirts to be long lasting, comfortable and of a high quality.

White/grey is least ugly/race specific. I'd rather have a a flag than the hoarse (it's too team-liquid :S) and tag on the back of course.

Theres gonna be a few colors don't worry. the colors dont matter only the design does (i.e palcement of seahorse/flag/gametag)

Gonna make a bump. Went to see the factory again today, I was procrastinating abit because i was swamped with other stuff but now i have even more incentive cause i want to wear this at WCG haha so im gonna place the order by this week.

Anyway if you have not voted in the poll and plan to buy a tee, please do so NOW!!!

Had a good feel of the material so the shirts won't be the "standard" china mass produced tees but "Hanes" tees imported from USA. Hopefully I can squeeze the price under $18. We will order 3 colors (BLACKZERG, WHITE, and either royalblue or asphalt yellow. And of various different sizes, mostly L, XL and some M.

So yea please tell me your shirt size too.

I am an XL for those who met me. Basically anyone above 180cm will be a XL.

Yes sizes in Singapore are a bit smaller. I am also 1.86m and i wear XL (and not because i put on weight).

payment will be done through paypal. sg delivery costs will be extremely cheap. yes i dont have exact measurements but a Hanes L tee is probably XL in AU so just one size bigger.

i wore a "L" jayjays shirt today which was the same size as the "XL" shirt i tried on

What do you think of having the name/country infront? Some people might find having your name at the back might be too showy / attention seeking. Let me know your thoughts please cause its going to be standardised across the board!

Rough demo, flag will of course not be like this but more of the style of the AU flag that welshy did.

As for how to order, I will add it to the sc2sea shop when its ready and you just use paypal to order.

I think the name on the back is better as it makes the whole thing look more professional I guess. As in, the pro teams have names on the back, and we're a serious community so I think we should do the same.

hey guys, so I need to use 2 colours for the flags, sg flag and aus flag, white is going to be an issue as it will show on black buut not on white, how does everyone feel about me changing the flag colours? will it be offensive?

Hey welshy, couldn't you just lightly outline the flag in black on the white t-shirts to define the region of white in the flags? Just a thought, might not turn out well.

Big thanks to Welshy again for coming up with these Lady Tee Variations. I am still undecided if I want to include flags. If alot of people want it I will but at the moment it looks like a no because the response isn't so hot and also because we can use only one color for the flags which must fit all three themes of the tees. Will listen to the feedback first. Aiming for the Tee Shirts to go live in the store on Tuesday next week!!
