Its in sept in case u are still living in the cave, well I have not become a hardcore 1v1 player yet and I am still using the crappy laptop to play sc2.The WCG is a 2day event and its at the freaking Expo which is like the other end of the red dot so going twice in a week will tire me the hell out.If you were to go and only choose 1 day, which day will u go??

Anyone knows the difference between the IESF qualifiers and the WCG SG qualifiers? From the information given on the website, it seems that the two dates are on the same day. So is it a either or thing for the two qualifiers?
1) TGX/WCG/IESF - Are all of them the same? The top 2 in 'WCG' will get to represent Singapore in TGX. Is this same as IESF?
2) Single Elimination for a big tourney? Why not remove Round Robin and just do 64 Players Double Elimination? I believe it will ultimately still take about the equal amount of time, just much much fairer for the players.
(a) Race Selection: Free Choice every map, Random is allowed. (Players must notify their race selection to the referee before the start of the match. If a player changes the race without referee’s permission, the player may be given a warning or lose by default at the referee’s sole discretion.)
Really? This will cause so many problems.
(1) I play a P opponent who hates PvP
(2) I choose P,
(3) Upon him knowing that I'm choosing P, he chooses T
(4) I hate PvT so I decide to change back to T
(5) He hates TvT so he decides to change back to P
(6) ......
Just stick to one race per tournament, just like all the major tournaments out there since WCG is one.
(b) Default map shouldn't be metalopolis IMO. It's not a balanced map(from Blizzard's statistics and why it was removed). Map pool should be 7 Maps, players veto 2 each, and the rest 3 maps are played out with the coin toss winner picking which map goes first.
5) hopefully we don't get 13" laptops to play on

muse im not sure about the rest of the points but i've suggested to them to display the information clearer so people know whats going on.
as for 4) - The player doesnt know what race you choose. He tells ref his race choice. You tell ref your race choice. The ref then announces it when both players haven chosen and thats that.
Update: We will have group stages than single Elim becos internationally this will be the format
Iesf and WCG on same days but will not clash. Two separate trips to Korea to be won for each toruney winner.
