Hello all,
Call me Raiders, from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm new here and making first post here. I played SC since decade ago mainly as Terran.
Please show me the way around here, and I look forward to joining a clan.
Wonder how my avatar looks like, is there a way to change it?
The more posts you make along the way, as you involve more in the community, you will be awarded more avatar pics and you can change it by clicking the button in the homepage chat, "Change Chatbox Avatar"

Hello guys, nice to meet you all. I'm new to SC2 and still in Bronze currently. I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia.Still learning to be a good Protoss player.
Hello, little hyper-intelligent islanders. FunkyGraham calling from the insulated mainland of the US of A. I've played SC2 for a number of months ever since getting it for Christmas last year, on a four-year-old laptop that rejects all manner of games and media as if they were contraband organs. Skype is almost definitely impossible, which may complicate things. If I could run Skype alongside anything else, or at all, I would already be in Gold or Plat by now.
I've had poor Lenny upgraded over the years, new hard drive here, doubled ram there, but I cannot swear in a court of law that he has a GPU. As such, lag is my biggest actual problem in advancing within the game, as well as my lowered confidence due to the unusual amount of toxicity I have encountered...I kid you not, one time I wished I was playing Call of Duty instead. At least those are just kids...
My irl losses are part of it as well, my life taking a downward turn, losing most everything adults value, puts me in no position to upgrade my system, so I will have to work around it in all things. This includes the aforementioned absence of Skype.
As for gameplay experience, I am considered an achievement junkie. I have almost 4000 points in my name with max levels, and have almost all of the campaign missions cleared on Brutal, even though my relevant multiplayer records are Silver and Bronze. I balked at the lack of a manual for the game, and learning it by myself was a steep curve. It took me three months to figure out that double-clicking would select all of one unit or building type, and more than that to use control groups in the most rudimentary sense. Now, I'm working on hotkeys, which will require me to choose a race. I can't decide! Which is most fun?
I love stuff from all of them, and I like being a support role in 3v3s and above. I actually got Platinum in 4v4 because I would take the brunt of the inevitable cheeses, and when the dust settled it's my three partners with deathballs in a thin ling broth against two or more failed cheesers. I'm a cheese magnet. I'm like soup. :3
I hope this isn't too long! I used to do forum stuff several years ago and I talk a whole lot today. It's compensating for the lack I get in real conversation, as I am quite autistic. I am unbelievably smart, but I never seem to be able to use this knowledge myself. It leads to people picking on me for not being able to heal myself, or blaming me for negligence or omission, so I hope this place is safe. Ugh, so much hate from this game. I almost stopped playing at all until I found you guys.

Nice to see another new guy around! Hope you feel whalecum-ed (hue ) in our community! Wish you the best of luck in starcraft2 and I agree, team games are fun. Choose protoss for ez wins Kappa
Anyway, just hang around the chat whenever you can! (But considering your location and timezone I don't think there would be much people online when you're awake lol)
Greetings from Singapore. Long time Starcraft fan who just purchased HotS about a month ago to play arcade. Gonna switch up to playing standard and/or ladder soon. Will welcome any form of advice or guidance! ^^
Would also like to know where the general SEA community plays. Almost everyone seems to be on Americas. Is that right?

Hi fellow Singaporean, most of us play on NA because SEA is a dead server. For you, you'd definitely find the ping to KR much better than NA. Do hang out at chatbox more often and eventually join a clan (I recommend mGG because their leader, Nemesis, is Singaporean too). See you around, there are many good Zergs here to give you advice whenever you need!
im fabio, moved from europe 1 yr ago, working in the beautiful aussieland, from melbourne
was kinda decent in wol (~plat), havent played for quite sometime, hope to find someone to play with
add me, lama.707 sea server.... or should I play on another server? whichhhh?
best
Hi LaMa, welcome to SC2SEA! Hope you'll frequent this site more and hang out at the chatbox!
Servers recommended would be NA and KR as long as delays aren't that high. Not many people play SEA anymore, as you can see there are less than 16 GMs there. Join up a clan if you're looking for people of your level to play with!
go to be cast some tournaments on my twitch all are welcome to come watch
Hey man!
First of all: Welcome to SC2SEA.com!
I'm sure if you hang about you'll have a blast and get to know some great people.
If you're ever looking for a group to hang about with then go ahead and add me on skype (shane_lee1097) and we can have a chat about this.
My name is Tim "DrennoC" Conner and I am a semi-pro StarCraft caster from the US (specifically Arizona at the moment). I am a freelance caster and also cast for ASL (Ascended Star League: ASL Wikipedia) which OSC just partnerd with! I cast a few other games too, but my passion and love is for the best game ever made: StarCraft! I feel called to be a kind, loving and humble person in the StarCraft community and I love the community! I am currently going to community college part time and doing programming work. I stream and cast sc2sea on my twitch channel although when I cast normally it is not on my own channel. When I stream I commentate the entire time and interact with my audience (you!!!) as much as I possibly can! If you want to know when I cast on different channels follow me on my twitter. Every follow means a lot to me!
I'm a 22 year old plat terran sc2 player from Melbourne, Australia.
Been playing sc2 since wings of liberty, and I've been playing HOTS off and on for the last year or so.
I watch GSL, SPL and Star League pretty religiously .
Hobbies are photography, music and exploring nature.
Would love to play some sc2 with some like minded people who are around my age.
Even if it's just going over replays or mucking around in 1v1, 2v2 ect.
Anyone who wants to play please add me on skype: christophergrant_
Or message me on twitter: www.twitter.com/2thesea_
The GPDL is a community hosted tournament that features players from the Gold, Platinum, and Diamond league from SEA. It is a fun tournament for the more casual players to have a chance to feel what is it like to play in a big tournament, and at the same time be pitted against players of their own skill level.
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
