How would you feel about doing some banners and trophies for VB?

For the banners, we've lost the services of our old graphics girl. Is it possible to make two more of these, but with the text "VB Starleague" and "VB Open"?


For the trophies I'd like two sets of 1st/2nd/3rd/participation. The tournament splits after a group stage so we'll have something roughly equivalent to a Code S/Code A,

The current ideas are

• VB Cup/VB Plate (where the cup could be full of beer and the plate could have a stubbie on it).
• VB Carton/VB Can
• VB Keg/VB Stubbie

In any case there would be something differentiating the 1st/2nd/3rd - either Bronze/Silver/Gold or some kind of detail/ribbon coloured Blue/Red/Green. The participation award can be something fairly simple.

They should all say VBSL somewhere and not be bigger than what we used for our last tournament:

Are stream overlays your own modified SC2 border that goes around the webcam of where most pros place their cam?

If so, could I get like a chrome/steel border made that is stained with blood around it? Like blotches of blood?

Antother overlay to put up in the top right of my alias "Bloodmyst" would be cool as well. Maybe make the font kinda creepy like, along the lines of blood running down or something.

Could I also request a stream background along the lines of;

- Terran theme, a cool marine with blood all over his helmet or something would be cool. Or maybe even a Thor would be cool.
- Pixels of the stream background... umm whatever works I guess
- Theme colors.. wanting to stick along the lines of red (blood), black and either chrome/white/steel kinda color.

Hope that kinda give you enough of an idea.

This is probably a lot of work. However, I'm in no rush for it until the 30/04 for when I get my new computer and I'm also happy to pay more then just $1 for it lol.

HOLY CRAP! This is pretty much SPOT ON for what I wanted. You really are talented at this GFX stuff! I LOVE your work man!

Now I'm annoyed though, here I was with the calculator out trying to work out finances for the next three months. After coming to the conclusion that things are tight for me for a while I decided to visit this site to get my mind off things. Now I see this amazing work and it's like.... arrrrgggg sh^t! Now I have to pay this guy for what he has done for me! LOL!

Haha well first of all make sure it's in the right aspect ratio and fits on your stream - if it doesn't you can take a screenshot of your SC2 game and send it to me and I can refit it to your screen size so it's the right ratio.

As I mentioned I am not doing this to make a living but the donations give me a reason to get through all the requests and motivate me to do some that I usually might not feel like doing at the time. Just donate whatever you feel it's worth to you if you want to n_n

EDIT: Also let me know what you want in each of the squares. One might have webcam over it but the others I can put in like clan tag or your twitter or something if you like.

Hmmm, now that I'm looking at that bottom overlay. I wouldn't really have anything to fill those squares really. Is it possible to take those squares out and keep most of it hollow (so you can see in-game unit selection/ portraits etc), whilst keeping enough of the custom border to cover the default in-game overlay?

Just a question also, do the hotkey groups show just above the overlay when in-game? I couldn't tell in the screen shot because you were an observer whilst not on player cam.

Could I ask for a small twitter logo with my twiiter link (@QEDBloodmyst) to be placed just above where the map is on the chrome part?

Lastly, the placeholder you have of my alias in the bottom right of the overlay. Is it possible to just completely replace that with that sickass QED logo you just made (the squareish one you made at the top of page 7)? That thing is awesome! Oh, and nearly forgot.... a small Australian flag on the chrome part above where the QED logo would go would be sweet as well. Us Aussies gotta represent!

I'm thinking $30 for your efforts... you cool with that? Or not enough?

Reposting request, don't have a clear idea of what I want but I'll try to be as specific as possible. Probably need to bounce some thoughts back and forth as you ask me more to get a clearer picture :S

Size (pixels) - Same as this image - can be smaller but keep the same proportions if possible.
Base image (an image you'd like used in the graphics, or an image that shows what you want your like, or an image to trace) - Something related to psychology or some generic stock photo of a background (e.g. this)
When you need it by: -
Colour scheme - White/ black/ blue
Style/theme - Something professional/formal looking. The image should be subtle and blended/faded, and not the forefront of the banner, like how Hut's one is.
The words 'this is alan's blog' should be in a corner.
The rest of the space can possibly be filled with random squiggles or whatever you deem fit!
Try to keep the raw file in case of any editions ^^
And if it's of any help, it's for use as the banner on this site.

If this is possible, could the logo be designed into a stream overlay also?

Those effects are actually pretty easy. By logo do you jsut want it to be text saying QED or did you want some kind of image included? I'll start with the stream banner and then see if you like it and I can make it a bit bigger or something so you can use it elsewhere.

sorry, probably should have went into better detail. yeah we want it to say QED and have the sce2sea horse somewhere on it. and maybe some silhouettes of various sc2 pictures (race logos etc etc)?
