also...if you've been promoed BUT have signed up...being the case with some people...tht and ive been hearing rumours (but how true can rumours be lol)..you can still play...under strict obs tho...to those who are gonna qq abt i'm gold why cant i join...you gotta be legit silv or bronze whn u signed up...a loophole I FAILED to see...err...next time T_T

I don't like this rule. It works (sort of) in the BSG open because the BSG open signups are only days before the event itself. So someone who got promoted has JUST been promoted. In this case, tournament registration happened weeks before the event. So I definitely think this needs to be re-thought, or the title changed to Panda's BSG open.

At this point, perhaps the newly promoted gold players could use their own judgement and conscience as well? If they are doing well in gold after promotion, maybe backing out to give the bronze/silver players their fun at their level would be a nice, wiser and much appreciated decision?

Afterall there is still the weekly BSG opens as well

That would be the nmore honourable thing to do, and when you think about it that's alll you are going for. I wouldn't want to win if I was clearly better then the competition
