I was going to make a post about how i got diamond again after being diamond since season 1, since i had never played enough games to get promoted (no more than 20 last season), and that i was going to try really hard to play more games and get promoted. But then i got promoted to masters on my fifth game of the season
after many a season in & , and race changes from terran to zerg and back, i have finally hit as Terran. Having tried all the others, i am finally settled into the race i want to be - the one with 50 mineral units that shoot up and down and scale amazingly with upgrades. Terran suits my playstyle the best, when i was last terran i wasnt good with stim or tanks. Herpa Derp.
My initial plan was that i would hit plat without any help or real build order, but once i hit plat i was goign to tighten things down a bit and get some coaching to shoot for diamond by the end of s6. And essentially i have done it, hit plat while still not really having tight build orders, just some general ideas that get tightened up a bit over time. To achieve diamond i will:-
1) get coaching from AsGChobo - already arranged, just waiting for him to get back from holidays;
2) play 4 games on the SEA server every day. last season i played heaps of games on other servers (the thought being that i would get more practice at the same MMR without actually really caring whether i win or lose, to then go back to SEA and be better than my SEA MMR. gold is srs bzns k?!?!);
3) play in the GPD as many weeks as possible. I want to be in diamond, so i should be playing against as many diamonds in srs situations as possible.
If you see me around sc2sea or online, please feel free to ask how i am going to keep me motivated. i REALLY want to hit diamond by the end of this season.
So good that so many people are getting promotions. sc2sea

I'm not touching a game on my main at the moment. Going to use my smurf to freely level up. Less Stress, more less worrying about my rank. I know where i am in terms of skill level, and i don't want it to be interrupted by a losing streak.
