I think this discussion originated before the 2a/2b split Erasmus - people aren't saying the team is too strong for a master dominant division - it's too strong for the PD division (because the team is essentially half GM/M, half PD). You can't really have players playing down that far, but you can have players playing up without a worry.
DeathsFang, we don't have enough GM/M players for a Tier 1 or 2a team is the big issue
Really?
My understanding was that it was:
Tier 1 : only
Tier 2A : /
Tier 2B : (mainly)
Tier 3: /
Tier 4:
Yeah it's roughly the same thing.
The teams are sorted depending on how strong a team is. For example, in tier 3 a team with one master and 4 diamond can be considered as strong as a team with two masters and 3 platinums
if everyone is committed and as games can be arranged to different times then it shouldn't be too hard to split up the team. Basically the matchups will be pm'ed to the admins and then the individual matches can be played throughout the week if the default day doesn't work out?
Makes it easier as having gms into T3 doesn't seem very fair, also pushing plats up to T2b can be a struggle and may limit their playtime.
