People say a picture says a thousand words but I'd say "Diablo" itself says a thousand pictures as people can already visualize what's going to happen next in game. That is how much it means to Diablo fans.
I look forward to being a hunter by day, slayer by night as I will hunt down and follow the trails of the demons, eventually slaying everyone of them when they come out at night. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Nightmares will be gone and peace galore.
OMG.... been waiting for a chance at one of these bad boys! Diablo 1 was my life at uni and is the game that got me hooked on Blizzard (for life)! mmmm ring of the vodiac, grandfather sword... so many memories.
What are you looking forward to most in Diablo 3?
THE BOSSES!!!!!!!
Lets go back in time shall we..... Remember the first time coming across these badasses... how good did it feel when you slaughtered them. Ahh the satisfaction... that is what I will be looking forward to!
Soooo many others... what was your fav?
EDIT: OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your are a true boss...!!!!!!
Making my character: thinking of a cool name, customizing what the character is going to look like (e.g. hairstyle etc), I love this bit of the game.
Exploring the first bit and wondering around listening to the sound effects.
Killing the first boss and every boss for that matter
Getting the loot! I want to get decent stuff through loot drops and auction house, but not by using real money.
Trading on the auction house. My "solitaire" feeling comes from browsing the AH and seeing if I can pick up decent bargains and sell them on for a profit. I can spend ages doing stuff like this and it is super rewarding when it pays off.
Meeting up with someone and doing stuff in a group. I really enjoy playing social games and I hope to make some good online friends to team up with and kick some serious ass.
Having a game where you can whack on your headphones and zone out of the real world for a while at the end of a long day (or even before the end of the day, or maybe just before going to work checking the AH).
I come from a family of three brothers where we're just hardcore fans of all blizzard games! Since young, we would play all sorts of blizzard games together through the night.
I can still remember the days where we would play the lost vikings (come on you guys played this game before right?!). It was great fun puzzle solving where I was always the short guy who could run fast and jump! My second brother would play the guy who was slightly fat and only held a shied, my big brother would then play the last one, the guy with the sword. He didn't particularly enjoy playing that character but hell who would give up the chance and fun of playing as three brotherly vikings with his two brothers?! That was the first blizzard game that made us die-hard fans! I still remember those moments.. Where the shield guy had to lift his shield for the thin guy to jump to high areas to unlock doors and defend against slimy blobs while the sword guy stood behind the cover of the shield to eliminate those pesky little threats! We would play up to 3am and get scolded by our parents but still go to sleep 3 happy kids. Solving vikings puzzle in our dreams!
But alas, that was all just when we were kids, I was merely like 5 years old then! Those were my fond memories.
Then, we played diablo! There was just this one memory that I can never ever forget. I was like primary one, my 2nd brother primary 3 while my eldest brother was secondary three. He got his hand on a copy of diablo and being too young, he would play and we would watch. Hell, at that time, that game was interesting as hell and fun to watch..
And then, all of a sudden.. 'RAHHHH FRESSHHH MEATTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!' ALL THREE OF US JUMPED FROM OUR CHAIR! It shocked the hell out of all of us and the character died to the famous le butcher! Countless hours of fun and enjoyment and laughter enfold and we played the game for about 2 years + its unofficial expansion.
Then, we got into WoW after casual one-basing 12 battlecruiser/carrier ''RUSH'' in starcraft 1, countless hours of dota / WC 3 / WC 2 / BW. We played nearly every single game blizzard had to offer! WoW was the most important game that made us brothers beyond blood. All these years, we played WoW on and off and raided with all sorts of people. There were fun times and there were not fun times. But we brothers always played together and went through all of them together! But of course, after so many years, all journeys must come to an end and we're on the verge of quitting WoW altogether.
Needless to say, having played so much of blizzard games together, any other games we play and didn't find like-able or could bond us together, we would always comment on how blizzard always makes the best games!
Out of the three of us, one of them is studying in NTU, one is busy working on a start-up project for an awesome app that could change a lot of things, only one remains playing starcraft 2 at a reasonably competitive level. That is not to say we don't still bond because of starcraft 2! We do, we share a GSL ticket , GSTL ticket, discuss about the game a lot and they like to spend time watching me play my ladder games and comment as well! But them, playing this game casually, can never relate to it with me at a level that I do.
Of course, I haven't forgotten about mentioning our story in Diablo 2( didn't think I'd forget, did ya?). Diablo 2 was probably the blizzard game that we spent the most time playing together that Is not an MMORPG(WoW is the only other game). We would spend countless hours playing different combination of 2-3 classes on the battle.net, killing countless number of the summoners, andariel, izreal the fallen archangel, blood raven, diablo, rakanishu ( that pesky little lightning enchanted imp that we always die to in nightmare/hell mode ), baal and even mephisto! It only took us till december 2012 to chance upon the fact that
Blood raven is rogue from diablo 1
The summoner is mage from diablo 1
Diablo is warrior from diablo 1( only fact we knew because we watched that bastard warrior got corrupted and piereced the bloodstone into his head like 20 times over completing diablo 1 again and again )
And we still had a darned long interesting chat about how it all adds up about what we know about blood raven and the summoner! What other game could link three brothers together ( oh yes I'm diablo, 2nd brother baal and eldest brother mephisto and together we are the brothers of terror, destruction and hatred from hell). But no seriously, games like diablo 2 from blizzard have really brought us brothers together like no other thing in life has ever brought us together!
Games from blizzard are truly amazing.
But I have not answered the question have I? What am I looking foward most to in Diablo 3. All those above, I hope you guys read them. It's what's gonna make the paragraph below more impactful.
In recent days, apart from starcraft 2 ( where I take it more competitively than my casual brothers ) where we don't come together to play it as much as I'd love to like old days and other blizzard awesome products. We only have random games like LoL, kingdoms of amalur and deus ex human revolution where we will only play and discuss for at most weeks or sometimes even days only. Its been a really long time since we've had that nostalgic feeling of playing a game we would indulge in and play like three little kids into the wee hours of the night and not let go even in our dreams and every day blanter and chat. We've been expecting Diablo 3 to fill that shoes for us since we're about to quit WoW and Starcraft 2 really isn't their cup of tea to play competitively in. We're really hoping for Diablo 3 to come out ASAP so that we can reminicise in old memories and play like three (little) lost vikings in the unchartered hell in the world of diablo. We've all signed up for the beta through Battle.net but sadly none of us have gotten in T.T additionally, my 2nd brothers' birthday was in january and when D3 was announced to be released in dec 2011, my eldest brother and I decided that we'd buy our 2nd brother ( lord of destruction ) D3 as a birthday present. Alas, to no avail, and like every other blizzard games, it was DELAYED. My dear lord of destruction was of course, really disappointed as he was really looking foward to bashing, smashing through enemies of hell with his favourite babarian with his two brothers!
I was disappointed too because I couldn't get him the game. Now, that I've read this announcement, there is that glimmer of hope because if I can get this story out there and it gets selected, I will be able to give the key to my 2nd brother and let him play the beta ( not the full game yet, but I'm sure he'll be delighted to have it ). Of course, me and my eldest brother will get to enjoy it too but nothing beats an achievement like ' having been a beta player for D3 where the key was a gift from my little brother ' and having a sneak peak of what the three of us will get to enjoy preferably in the near future!
Now, I would love to end off this story and be really hopeful but with hope comes greater disappointment. I truly do wish/hope/pray that I can get a key (as I've been unsuccessful in all my attempts - including when maynarde and dox was streaming aLt vs TA and I actually typed moonglade tgun for last question before the question was asked and told myself 'silly me, how can the answer be so easy' and cancelled the answer only to see 1000 of the same answers being correct the next moment. I was disappoint and I smacked myself really hard then) for my brother as a belated birthday gift. I haven't been able to find a suitable birthday present replacement.. Which was what sparked me into writing such a long story for a chance at the key. Its worth it even if you guys enjoyed the tale of three loving brothers who loves games and e-sports!
Thank you for reading and I hope its not too much of a wall of text!
Brultze came close as well.
For the two remaining keys I used random.org with the numbers corresponding to the post number in the thread.
#4 Was system, he already has a beta key so next!
#30 likewise calcifier19 already has a key sorry mate appreciate your honesty but I have to give it to someone who doesn't!

Hope you guys enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone for participating in the giveaway, unfortunately we have a limited amount so cannot give keys to everyone but we hope Blizzard gives us more so we can do more of this in the future.
I think getting all my RL friends together through mutual interest, joining the international gap. I would also like to observe the RMAH economics for self education.
