I managed to get Platinum as Random on NA before I was even a high Gold player on SEA as Zerg. I've noticed for me that mid diamond is about equal to high plat/low diamond on SEA, but it almost certainly jumps up in difficulty on NA far above SEA once you start getting to top 8 diamond. We'd probably have similar results with SEA if we had the population and internet infrastructure in Australia.
this season i used up all my bonus pool before the lock on both, not quite promoted to masters on SEA and not quite promoted to platinum on NA (rank 1 in my division in both)

If you get into masters I'll be disappointed with everything
I'm of the opinion that Zealo is a hate sponge. We simply improve his rating by hating on him. Eventually it will reach a point that pure hatred will power him to be the first random player to win GSL.
To put this in perspective, my friend who has never played Starcraft before came over and had a try on my NA account which is . He proceeded to win 5 of the next 7 games against opponants (However i did help him a tiny bit by saying what units to build ). In SEA , I have trouble trying to beat people also in . Go Figure.
It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

Huh, a lot of peoples are saying NA server is actually harder then NA. Interesting. I was going to say quite the opposite I'm not avtive on SEA atm but I placed into bronze. Now bronze is bronze of course. The other guy 4 gates me at 8:30 lol. And I was able to win by a triple exspanding brood lord rush herp derp. Enough said there

Yeah man, I've been cruising at bronze in SEA and when I play placement matches, I place in silver or gold in NA. I'd rather not play on the NA server anymore though. On the SEA server you see better executed all-ins, better macro players, even at bronze, which is kinda scary. everybody seems clued into the late game, although cannon rushing seems all the rage now (in one of the 2-player maps, cannons actually saw up my ramp >.<).
But the Korean server is tough, even at bronze level! When I played TvT on my friend's account, I saw like the best-timed 1) thor rush; 2) two-port banshee; 3) marauder rush... almost GSL timing! All of which i lost to, despite scouting. it's like micro wars down there!
