Goals: I have 1 big goal to compete with the best players in sea, I have lot of work ahead of me, so masters first.

Bio: I have been gaming most of my life since I was about 9/10, I have played Call of Duty (1, UO, 2 and 4) semi-professionally for a while, I have been in many teams/clans for CoD, but as the is very stagnant and dull after you play the same map for the 40th time that night, you get bored, so i've moved on to SC2 I have limited knowledge, in RTS only playing AoE2 with my brother, only little bits of WC3 with friends, and AoE3 with some old clan mates, I left TCP (a great clan) because they were not as competitive as I was, and we didn't share the same goals.

Side note: I have just got back from a 6 month break, I've been placed in diamond (I didn't drop any ranks which is impressive, not really) so I am back I don't quite feel like I am playing at a diamond level yet, though I can take games. I am a very competitive person though since coming back I've lost my ego, which is really good, and I also don't mind playing 10-20 games in a row on the same map, and grinding out certain builds. I would love to join a semi-competive team, as I think I can add a lot of man hours, and I can put in the practice with my (fairly decent) work ethic. I hope due this I can achieve my goals, as I feel I am improving very rapidly.

At the moment I would like to join a team that talks, and plays together. I don't want a team that doesn't talk much, sits quietly by them selves grinding just ladder, it is a game and you're meant to have a little fun.
I also don't mind if people just randomly, add me, and just want some games.

What I can offer to a team:

Diamond (low) Terran
Prior knowledge (gaming for almost 8-9 years)
Commitment to improving and practicing
Microphone and skype, and all that jazz
Can help coach lower level players if needed


What I'm looking for in a clan/team:

Commitment to SC2
a common goal to improve
Players willing to practice as a team (not just laddering)
Well mannered
Competitive and serious

With SEACL coming up Soon(TM) and more clan leagues popping up, now is the time to join a clan.
SEACL incorporated Bronze->GM and I expect that the new clan leagues will be looking at including as many leagues as possible. Even if you are just looking for practice partners or to chat with people in similar leagues, you really can't go past some of the SC2SEA clans listed in the OP.

I've been wanting to jump back into SC2 since I've been absent from it due to being busy irl amongst other things. Now things have settled down I'm looking forward to getting involved in the SEA Community. I played a lot of SC2 for fun with a friend about a year ago and he was kind of the only person I knew in the SC2 community so we just done a lot of fun matches/ladder/2's etc. I was really starting to get into Starcraft at this time, then he left for another game and hasn't been back since.

My interest in the game at that point wavered due to not knowing anyone and so I also stopped playing, (Wish I had used the site more often back then). I've laddered quite a lot as Zerg, but I feel I haven't learnt from the games I played as well as I could have and would like to improve my play as well as to try and become an active member in this community.
