If you find it is working then keep it going. You may just find in higher leagues that it is less effective and you will have to change your builds. But it still can be a strong build so keep doing what is working for you imo
3 gate robo is my "default" build.. It's what I started with and is very safe and strong. Getting that timing right and making sure you have a sentry and Immortal out but the time a 4 gate could hit is a major strong point.
I have found that for Z to avoid lings in your mineral line a FFE build has worked wonders for me.. I started playing SC2 just under a year ago, 3 gate robo pvt pvp and FFE for PVZ managed to get me to top 8 gold.
These build are not to advanced to bronze and to limit yourself by saying so will only slow progress. A lot of people who have been in higher leagues for years underestimate the skill level that these lower leagues have reached over the years. With masters now being a little more exclusive the lower leagues have also become filled with better players..
