I've actually found the game to be more about army management than anything else.
Reminds me a bit of broodwar were you needed a lot of hotkeys for your army with spell casters etc. (yes this is in sc2 WoL, but I feel it is less prevalent.)
Army compositions (as Zerg at least) feel way more complex and micro intensive with vipers and the constant burrowing/unburrowing on swarm hosts.
Ok my first impressions, most people have already covered the main stuff ill look at it from a Noob Level
protoss
Mothership Core- Helps massively when facing early game pressure, It also counters 3rax allin forcing me to find new strats!
Tempest- Havent used it but find it kinda hard to deal with as Terran, the maps have quite a bit of space behind/beside the natural making the tempest hard to attack
Oracle- I find them fairly easy to deal with, just gotta make sure you have turrets up in time!
Zerg
Swarm Host- tough to deal with in high numbers, but you just have to be clever with stiming in a sniping it also makes me build ravens / scan more frequently and thus improves my play so I like them!
Viper- N/A (Im yet to deal with these)
Burrow Ultra- I think its a clever new ability it makes me recognize the need to micro in engagements and ensure I have detection when moving out
Terran
Warhounds - awesome unit, I find myself turning to mech builds now, yes they are a little too good atm, but for now Im liking it! Pro Tip currently have a completely uneconomically viable build that is super greedy where I get 1-1 vehicle insanely then attack with 2-2 when the opponent usually still has 1-0 lol
Widow Mines- Only tried them a couple times, I felt they required a higher skill level then I currently have, they seem like a cool unit, kinda like the baneling Id love to see someone like YoonYJ (or Rossi who has freaken sick micro) convert the "TargA Banes" build into a Terran Strat. havent had too much trouble dealing with them, make sure you have detection!
Noob friendly additions- I like these, for one its a reminder to keep building scvs, the pre split thing at the start is good because I usually have delay connecting to the game
Really enjoying HoTS atm ^_^

I haven't been playing protoss very long, nor do I have the beta, but I can see what they are doing makes sense. And in no way SHOULD a ground army comprising of tier 1.5 and tier 2 beat a massive tier 2 and 3 army thats well controlled. Protoss players have just been lazy I think, because for so long the deathball approach or timings/all-ins worked, that they struggle with late game armies. Same reason terran struggled when queens got the buff, because it forced them to do something else other than hellions. This is a massive meta game shift thats happening, if protoss cant all in, and cant sit on a mid game army, then yes, of course they'll lose. and now they dont have the luck based mothership vortex they can fall back on, so it will be tough, but people will get there eventually i think.
For those who don't know, the mothership is still in the game.
Once you make a fleet beacon, you can upgrade your ms core into a mothership. it takes a very long time and i dont think it can be chorno boosted but when it comes out, it has FULL energy lol. So its a lot more powerful in that sense but more vulnerable cause it will take ages to get again.

No it cannot be chronoboosted, and it only costs 300/300 now because the Core cost 100/100.
Which is good because it feels cheaper in the late game, so you can afford it more quickly.
Also i can be made wherever the mothership core is. so you can actually transform it outside a base and move it in and recall then vortex. It keeps the energy from the Core.
First impressions (from a pretty bad player, but still...)
TvZ : not much change. Some of the current maps have really gay naturals for terran to take against zerg allins, and other maps have super safe naturals but no third zerg can take very safely, so there's a lot of all-ins. I've been meching as usual, so all the zergs rushing out swarm hosts just doesn't work. Noone's gone the viper tech yet, so idk.
TvP: Been losing a lot cause I'm trying to find a timing i can get a bunch of battle hellions and marines with a few medivacs and do some damage. Worked brilliantly against one guy who went fast charge, but normally not so great.
TvT: New reapers with vision and health region seem kinda retard... Gasless expoing off one rax is insanely risky now as you can't just abuse high ground to be reasonably safe. I think it's stupid. Have to be incredibly precise with positioning to abuse the one range marines have over reapers. Seems too stupidly easy to just multiple rax reapers than to defend it with an eco opening though, atm. :/
I love widow mines though. Favourite strat atm is to do a TvZ style gasless expo into reactor factory and get 4 or so widow mines for early defense. Doing that in all 3 matchups, which is really nice when so many people are playing random to feel out the new strats.
