well in the first place the only reason we changed our status to that of a "pro team" is so we could play in leagues that only accepted "pro teams". Kinda like how we only sponsored moonglade just so he could play in NASL cause they only allowed "sponsored players" and after that we stopped. even NASL knew what we were doing and were cool with it cause it ultimately met their regulations.

However, even with our pro-team status we were denied entry, as the league admin was adamant about not rescinding invitations he had given out (the teams invited were relatively decent if u consider the state of the scene 4 months ago), so we did the next logical step which was to join an invited team to play in the league and we are happy SQL has given us this opportunity.

But wasnt there going to be an open bracket if SQL didnt have enough players that aLt couldve participated in? ^_~

nope, theres still going to an open bracket. Us joining SQL had no affect on the open bracket and similarly other teams adding players won't change the format. SQL would have picked up other players anyway as they wanted to play in the league as they are refocusing on their SC2 division. stallion had being under consideration for some time!

anyway benji's making the announcement for his league in about 2 weeks its best to wait till then he will address all the issues, as this is just the SQL announcement thread after all. Its Benji league i have no say at all in the running of it but i strongly advised him to improve it as the scene had developed rapidly over the last 2 months and he came up with the idea of having the open qualifier. My advise for those who want to play in it (and dont have a "pro-team") is to join one. I suggested inFi to join up with one of the other teams they have a very close affiliation with but unfortunately the other manager has different plans for his team.

To my knowledge there was only going to be an open bracket because SQL did not have enough players, so unless another team drops out (again, as far as my knowledge goes), there will be no open bracket.

This is so awesome, I feel sorry for a certain other team (you know who you are T_T) but really awesome pick-up in stallion. Excellent player, he's been short on time recently but once he moves to Australia I think hes gonna really start to tear up the scene

I apologize for going a bit off topic here.... but every time I see the Sequential name I can't help but think of Team Immunity, from the CS days I guess >< (Sorry Josh and Nate).

So does anyone know how Team Immunity is going these days? Do they have an SC2 team at all?

EDIT: iirc didn't MoonGlade play for them?
