Huh. My Sibelius 4 (I can export something written as .mid) hasn't been used in a while. Maybe I'll whip something up.
Are you SURE there's no theme or anything you'd like us to follow, crAzerk? I just feel like you'll want to use the winning tune for something and given the variety of music these days you may well could have drastically different results.
@aztecx - The program is pretty intuitive to use, plus on your first usage there should be like tutorial-like tips that appear at different functions. Shouldn't take you long to figure out!
@matthras - If you could, can you try downloading Anvil Studio and opening an exported .MID file and see if the scores show up in Anvil Studio? If it doesn't, same thing as what I said earlier, provide screenshots of the full scores in your own program! And nope no theme! Free to express!
@infeZa - There's no need to 'officially sign up', just send me your composition before the stated deadline
Clarification to all potential contestants:
It is preferred that you use Anvil Studio to compose. However, you ARE allowed to use other programs to compose.
In the case that you want to use your own programs, do ensure that the file you are saving as (.mid or .wav) is compatible with Anvil Studio. The direct way to test this is to download Anvil Studio and open up your file with it, and see if the scores/tracks appear accordingly
