Tbh I'm not even unrustled the slightest by having them there, I just want to hang out with people who are actually part of the community and can respect the games played on a super saiyan 5 level.

Im just going to say one last thing before I'm out of this thread as life is to short to read this stuff and it makes me feel way to drained. When something happens not to your liking, please show respect in how you approach constructive criticism, and that once you have voiced your opinion, let that be it. Now, a lot of people have voiced their opinion respectively, but then once the admins have tried to answer your questions/calms/fears/anger don't keep retorting with other things he said/she said. The amount of time/work/effort the ACL guys put into things is astonishing, they don't get paid for it, and they do it out of the goodness of their hearts. Venue only has room for 300? So ******* what, make sure you're one of the 300. This rant is a lil misguided, this thread is actually relatively tame I spose, but I've seen this kinda shit in e-sports for the last 6 years and people need to stop qqing so much once something doesn't go 100% as they expected.

So who do the ticket holders get express entry over if you aren't allowed in the venue without a ticket? That's the one thing I am struggling to understand at this point.

Express entry over GA standing room only I can understand, but that isn't happening. I also understand that there was some miscommunication and assumptions made along the way, but this is written on your website which leaves me even more confused.

Is it express entry over no entry at all?

But this event goes for roughly 12 hours each day...and I'm sure not everyone will want to get there at 11am. What's the cut-off time for people with tickets to get there? I don't think this is viable

A lot of you have actually gone full retard, for lack of a better expression.

You know what? I missed out on tickets to see Tool a while back. I was sad as ****. I wanted to go so badly. My BROTHER got tickets. I got up early and set an alarm and went online and bam, no tickets left. All sold out. And I can guarantee you, I was mad as ****, but not to the stupid extent some of you are going to. Be mad, but don't blame organisers.

I was lucky enough to get tickets to WCS. I set my alarm and I got them.
It was all over Twitter you needed to book tickets.

I did not assume there was standing room and I watched the same ******* podcast as the rest of you.

The fact is a 300-seat venue is a stretch to fill without Tastosis - that's a sad reality in itself. I think organisers booking a 300-seat venue, considering they didn't know Tastosis would be able to come at the time, is a sound business decision.

Quite frankly, the reaction as a whole to this AMAZING THING THAT IS HAPPENING FOR US AS A COUNTRY is ******* embarrassing. It's all about egos and tantrums and god help us if Blizzard catches on that this is the reaction they get for contributing to something incredible for our community.

Just stop behaving like children for one second, think about what you say before you say it.
No-one should expect special treatment.
This is an amazing thing that is happening to us. Stop ruining it.

Whether or not you set your alarm because you're "not an idiot", if 3000 people woke up early to get tickets, 2700 are still going without. It's all a bit of a shame really. Quite glad I never got around to booking flights.
