Great opportunity for you; congratulations. It is good to see someone flying the flag for our region, especially now that the NASL has been announced. Whether or not your casting brings increased attention to SEA SC2 is neither here nor there; the important thing is that we keep involving ourselves with the rest of the international community if we want to grow. We are never going to have the same pull as the Korean/North American/European scene.
Your casting has taken a bit of getting used to so far (even though I'm from Australia and have several friends from Singapore and Malaysia) and I'll confess that I've joked about your first few casts a bit with my other SC2 friends, but live it up and enjoy the experience of being in the thick of the international game.
The chemistry that Tasteless and Artosis have is something that would be nigh-on impossible to replicate or transcend. Just keep on doing your thing; haters are always going to hate. What anyone thinks is immaterial; the fact is that you have a contract and you're honouring it. It's an added bonus that you're trying to get feedback and are listening to ideas of how to improve and be more accessible to westerners (i.e. the target audience of the English-speaking GSL casting); can't really ask more of anyone than for them to strive for self-improvement.
So why do they call you kelly instead of kellymilkies at Gom? Are you saying you have effectively changed your ID, and if so why is it not changed here?
This is the 3rd or 4th day I hear Kelly cast. So far I think she improved a lot since the 1st day.
I'm fine with her accent (guess because I used to study in Singapore.. feel so sad because I have to play in NA server now). Yea, I agree with some people that sometimes she mispronounce. Professional commentator is a tough job, especially if it's international as people expect a lot from her.
One of my friend streamed HQ GSL today on TL and 700 people watched it (unfortunately it was blocked by GomTV in 3rd game). And the only things they talked are how bad her pronunciation is. Well, at least there're 700 people love her
I have to agree with ricemuncher above.
You do tend to overstate the obvious.
Good effort on the casts, you're no tasteless- But then again he's been doing casting for a hell of a long time.
With time I think you'll make a great caster when you're more relaxed and comfortable.

Voice and expression-wise yeah it is hard to be on Tasteless' level, he's great to listen to
However game analyis: Kelly > Tasteless.
I love him, but the amount of things he says that are just plain wrong does get to me sometimes!
Sometimes I even feel Kelly is better then Artosis at focusing on battle positioning when he seems to ignore it, though overall he is the starcraft knowledge-god and a great zergtoss.
But overall I agree give it time and Kelly will be a great all-round caster
Her doing an interview with moonglade. Moonglade seems like a pretty decent guy and I wish him the best of luck. Kelly on the other hand is abit awkward at times.
'How do you feel about the initial flaming on TL?' 'I feel very happy about it!!'
'How have you prepared for your code A match on friday? Brian you are like the worst question writer on earth. Of course hes been practicing.'
First off, congrats to Kelly for getting the gig, and all zee best in this new experience.
Next, I echo some earlier comments where it'd be good for the viewers if the commentators don't simply state the obvious, but instead 'paint up' a story to 'mess up' the viewers' imagination. Tastosis and Day9 were masters of this 'commentating' skill and I suppose it'll take a bit of time to adjust to a different level of commentating, as portrayed by Kelly.
She's still young, so she can only get better, especially her diction and clarity. Less slurring, less 'kentang-slanging', and more emotions into her casting/commentating and she'll do awesome.
