Single Elim.

Same situation as last months Masters Cup (International), which served as a NA qualifier, both played then.

If PiG and Mafia did come first and second. The third/fourth placed players would have done more than enough to earn their spot, as it is a very tough event to place highly in at the best of times.

So yes might be a bit unlucky if knocked out early, but there have been other qualifiers, and it wouldn't be fair to restrict them from such a large tournament.

The problem is what if something like jaz v mafia happens round 1/2 (not those exact players) and jaz loses: he gets ko'd from someone who can't actually end up qualifying. I agree that they should definately be able to play due to the tournament being a pretty big one for us (SEA), so it's a tough issue.
