Just a question - along the lines of TargA's... can non-Australian's sign up..? and if the top 2, not receive the qualifying spot? or is this Australian citizens only?

This is strictly for the Blizzard WCS and so unfortunately non-Australian citizens cannot sign up to keep things simple (if the top 2 aren't Australian, have to find another method to distribute the qualifier spot, etc...).

How do you define nationality?
For the 2012 StarCraft II World Championship Series, nationality is defined by your country of citizenship. Should you have multiple countries of citizenship you must choose one for the tournament year, and you will have to qualify through that country’s path in order to climb through the ranks.
