Attention all ToR-ians! A slight reassessment has led me to announce the following regarding the

ToR In-House Tournament

Here is what the Event Managers have thought up to combat skill differences,

Handicap Levels

Each league has been reviewed and we have decided the amount of Handicap Percentage of the HIGHER league players will have to play at.

vs :: Handicap – 100%
vs :: Handicap - 90%
vs :: Handicap - 70%
vs :: Handicap - 50%

vs :: Handicap - 90%
vs :: Handicap - 100%
vs :: Handicap - 100%
vs :: Handicap - 70%

vs :: Handicap - 70%
vs :: Handicap - 100%
vs :: Handicap - 100%
vs :: Handicap - 90%

vs :: Handicap - 50%
vs :: Handicap - 70%
vs :: Handicap - 90%
vs :: Handicap - 100%

*Percentages follow according to that which is present in the Blizzard Custom Games settings*

Players of the lower leagues are encouraged to play with no handicaps, especially if they are confident of their skills.

GROUPS
Best of 1
Play among your group. Any disputes are to be brought forward to the Event Organisers.

QUARTER FINALS
Best of 3
No 1 of A vs No 2 of B (I)
No 2 of A vs No 1 of B (II)

No 1 of C vs No 2 of D (III)
No 2 of C vs No 1 of D (IV)

SEMI FINALS
Best of 3
Winner of I vs Winner of III
Winner of II vs Winner of IV

FINALS
Best of 5

RULES:

• ABSOLUTELY no 6-10pool, Worker Rushes or some other weird crap that once reviewed is considered an exploitation of the handicap system.

  • Bunker, cannon or spine crawler rush
  • Worker rush
  • Allins involving workers
  • Proxies of anything
  • Anything else and the organisers will have to look through it
• In regards of the above, a player found doing the above will be given a warning and a replay will occur,
• Once a player has received THREE warnings, said player will have to be regrettably removed from the tournament.
• Do not BM, QQ or rage as this is all in fun and laughter (with some pride at stake :P)
• Organisers have full right to tell players how much handicap they must play at

panda im not going to send you the rep as he was within his rights to do that so fair is fair i even decided my self to play at 70% handicap as he still thought i was masters and i didnt want to be a dick. WPGG.

also jo 8 mins into a game a plat could have an identical build to a masters player its not really until 10 mins and after do masters pull ahead masters and plats are playing the same game. also no micro can beat that build with 70% NONE he hit his timing well he played well and it was executed well if i had had 100% i would have struggled with it with 70% i had no chance at all. thats all ill say anyway T.T btw i was meching bahahaha tvp :S regardless if i played standard macro no chance

I was semi trolling in my post

I think that there is a huge difference between plat early game and masters early game. Though maybe I'm just thinking about plat and top GM early game...

there isnt all that much if you practice a build 20 times it will be the same as a master level player doing it (mby) its just my opinion though early game you have not that many things to do and mid and late you have alot so thats when masters pull ahead i think i could stay even with MKP for the first 5 mins but then get smashed even 5 mins is pushing it T.T. again my opinion so i could be wrong :S

Yeah 70% seems only really viable if you are a bronzer.. silver league maybe.. but gold def not.. even though i got demoted to silver this season more or less due to lack of playing a high silver/low gold up should know how to drop and macro at a level way above a 70% requirement.

It's a cool idea but I feel sorry for higher leagues haha
