I really liked the possibility of a tie, and of 1 game being worth more points than the others each week - i think it was a great format. The ace games added some hidden spice, and added an element of strategy to the games - as opposed to just slugging out with 5 players week in week out.

So we will have the first game on 5 april, then second round on what - 12 april? Just to deal with this issue now, that is going to be the start of a new season. I would anticipate that a fair few players from the 5 remaining teams will make diamond, esp from the powerhouse teams like perth penguins and TA. I dont want to see anyone lose games to ensure they dont get promoted, so i think we should consider amending the rule to be:-

1) each team must have (at least) 2 golds or lower; and
2) the other three spots can be anything

dont get me wrong, this pretty much destroys Zerocraft's chances of winning the competition (as we are wholly reliant on only facing 1 diamond a week that we can hope to snipe), but i thought i would throw out my 2c now before the promotions actually occur and there is suddenly an influx of people arguing for or against certain systems (which generally look completely biased, just saying).

It would be nice to agree on a system now before the promotions actually occur... if that is possible.
