ARGH! So many awesome tournaments and I'm going to be away on holiday >.<

Is this on the same time as the BSG? That might cause problems for some...

That map is chosen because of it being different from other 2v2 maps, and kind of encourages macro play, or 2 base play depending on the situation. It is one of the more decent maps in the list. Arid wastes is just bad.

There are no registration fees, only prize money for the winners.

Cheers, so I will be able to choose Arid Wastes if I lose (the only decent 2v2 map blizzard has made!)

Other question, round of 16, bo1,bo1,bo3,bo3 so max 8 games? My partner and I both work, so if it gets to midnight we'll have to head off. If we've made it to the finals, is there any chance of postponing to the next day if its looking like we won't make it before midnight?

Hmm ok, it's just Twilight is so zerg favoured IMO. Good to know you agree about Arid wastes though

Arid waste is a map where early rush is really difficult to defend, especially since the defending distance from 1 base to another is just stupid. Twiling is not as much zerg favoured as terran and protoss favoured, since the natural expansion is basically free, and walling off protects both main and nat. Yay, I can talk about map balance! :P

Yes, if you lose in Semi or Finals, you are able to pick Arid Wastes as the next map to be played on.

Yes, the maximum number of games that one can play in this tournament is 8 games. However, due to short number of games, it is unlikely to go past midnight. We will only postpone the finals for exceptional cases.

Not sure if I should be turning this into a map discussion lol, but anyways. I find twilight is zerg favoured just because it is so big, with a few speedlings to get map control you can usually do nothing but drone and expo for the first 6-7 mins. I think I've managed 100+ drones in less than 10 minutes on that map. Just my 2 cents anyway

This is definitely a great addition to the already awesome line-up of SC2 tournaments at sc2sea.com!

Also, in terms of administration BakaInu; inform players to organise their teams prior to signing up and organise between themselves for one member from the team to sign-up for the tournament; thus the current tournament layout on sc2sea.com can be used with ease.

Look forward to tuning in!
