FAQ - New players please read this before asking the admins anything. Q) When do I begin my RoX matches?
A) Unless I have asked you to wait so I can bring the streamer/caster into the game, please begin your game(s) immediately.
For the first round, if for example the official start time is 7pm SGT but the brackets are out earlier, you can play your match first if BOTH players agree but its not mandatory. Walkovers commence 15 mins after official start time.
Q) I'm ready for my RoX match! Where is my opponent?
A) If the bracket hasn't been updated, it means your opponent is still in-game on his current RoX match. If you're curious and want to speed things up for yourself, you could always add your future opponents and check their match history/status.
Q) I can't find my opponent?
A) Their battle.net name and character code should be in their sc2sea.com profile, if it isn't, try finding them via the chat channel. If you have no success tracking them down, please wait 15minutes before PMing the admin as the player will only be DQed after that time.
Q) What map am I on?
A) Map list is posted at the bottom of this post. Click "Read More". To find non blizzard maps, go to create game, then enter the map name in the search box.
Q) The tournament has started, can i still join?
It is not our obligation to accommodate you but usually our admins are kind enough if you ask nicely. Try PMing the admin and if hes not too busy he will slot in you by letting you replace one of the walkovers we typically always have. Do note that your name cannot be inserted into the bracket so you have to remember to tell your opponents you have replaced that particular player in the bracket as well as the admins when reporting your results.
Q) Hey, my opponent DC'ed, but he's back online, what do I do?
A) If any disconnects occur within the first two minutes of game-play, the match will be replayed. However if the disconnect occurs after two minutes of game-time, then it is up to the discretion of the player who did not disconnect to decide whether the match will be either: A) replayed, or B) forfeited.
Q) Who reports the games? Do i need to send in my replays?
To make things easy for the players, only the winner needs to report the results. And as for replays, only the winner of the whole tournament will have to send in their replay pack.

Update: Turns out you dont need an account to sign up, Thanks delete. So just click on the bottom left text on the page which says
"For a lamer but satisfactory experience,
sign up for this tournament without a Challonge account. "
Only the top 16 players will be seeded. Bo3 starts in the ro8 rather than the usual ro4.
Seedings will be purely based on SEA ladder rank so them ladder points are going to be important.
tgun not to worry we will have qualifers on other days well, to accomodate those who cant make it on wednesday.
del yeap bo1 till Ro8 but we do seedings for 16 players so its not perfect but it helps somewhat and its very unlikely that two strong players will meet in a bo1 as a result of this. as qualifiers just have a $25 prize not sure if people would wanna play bo3s from the start gonna add a 2-3 more hours to the tourney time.
depending on what happens in the first qualifier, the other qualifiers could be revised slightly.
52 players signed up so far, limit will be 128 players per tourney!
yea as a competitor i have a strong dislike for Bo1s too. if it turns out to be a serious issue in the early rounds, we will revise it in the other 3 qualifers. just trying to make it managable so we can finish a 128 player bracket on a weekday night and intergrate our tradtional COs as a qualifier. if anyone else has suggestions on how else to work a format with roughly 4-5 hours to work with would be glad to hear them! As it is now with bo3s only in ro8, the CO finals should end at 12-1am AEST.
also don't mean to be "the party pooper" but can someone tell Balloon to play in the NA qualifer instead! That is open to all nationalities/residents and details for those will be announced soon.
yea its 7pm for SG and 9pm for AU now, which i feel is the best timings possible. its just harsh for NZ but we will have an earlier qualifer for them too, and probably 1 or 2 weekend ones.
be so awesome if, like, one time, these were run at an earlier time for aus/NZ
not to worry, the other qualifers will start earlier, as we need to cater to the NZ population too.
deneb walkover time is 15 mins as standard
as for starting after 7pm sgt its partly to accomodate the SEA population who only can reach home at 7pmsgt. we are basically following the CO format whcih we had over 50 tourneys starting a 6-7 sgt so far. Basically we want to integrate the COs with our major tournaments but taking into consideration this is the SEASL#2 we will have a weekend tounrmant that starts early as well to accomodate the different regions / working population, just like we had for SEASL#1 as well!
does the tournament start latest by 7 pm? i really want to join but i dont know if i will make it home in time. also in the event that one does not participate is there a penalty of any sort?
Devils advocate.. 7pm SGT is also 7pm WA time..
If you are a scrub office worker like me.. you knock off at 5pm then spend the best part of an hour in transit, get home smash some feeds and resign for the evening.. 7pm is ideal :P
As stated later qualifiers will cater to different timezones.. maybe chill back a bit if you cant roll well onto this one?
