Looks fun, will probably be going and driving down. Have space in car for Sydney peeps who want to drive down and come back on the SAME day.

edit: Have space for 6 people but 2 are tiny backseats which would be extremely uncomfortable - so most likely only 4 unless people like to be uncomfortable

My experience is just over a full tank will get you to and from sydney. Great initiative though, any

Soundwave is there a limit to the amount of competitors? I'm not sure how many pc's the barracks has but if need be I can happily bring and play on my laptop

Barracks has 50 PCs, with a few not working, so I'll say 45. If we end up getting that many people we'll have a Ro32 as well. There's no limit, but if we get more than 45 it means some people will be sitting out while others play.

If there's any changes, website will be updated and all participants emailed. I'll post here too.

Just worked it out again guys, came to $100

20m pg = 32km pg
1 gallon = 3.8litre
3.8l = 32km
1litre = $1.5
3.8 * 1.5 = 5.7
distance to canberra = 286
286 / 5.7 = $50
$50*2=$100

Close too it. Parking on London circuit which is probably the closest place to park. Note that the barracks is actually in a bus interchanges so you can't drop people out the front or drive directly past it.

Parking should be free being a Sunday and Canberra but it might cost you $10 at the most since it is in the heart of the city.

Edit: best place to park should be
176 London Circuit Canberra.

Plenty of parking, and it's free on Sunday. Outdoors, if that matters.

Got that typo fixed.

We have 17 sign-ups so far, in addition to a couple of others saying they would come, but not having signed up yet. No advertising has been done offline yet but once we put some posters up and stuff the number should increase.
