Hey guys.

Marc is correct in that we had been tossing up the idea for some time within SASL.

Our original hit date was the GSL finals which has been confirmed for Saturday 19th May.

Originally we thought of having it within SASL and perhaps due to the smaller community having it at someone's house with decent net and a cable to connect to the TV.

However it has quickly grown to a lot more interest. According to the page there are 20+ guys from within SASL keen (with 15 maybe) and I am sure many others who haven't responded.

I am more than happy to look at options with you being an Event Manager myself. Hit me up on Skype (bradley_baldwin) if you want to work on options but I can guarantee you there is enough interest and so long as it goes well it will only grow.

I will def get in touch with you soon, and its good to hear that we could expect at least 25 through the door at one of these events! And youre actually an event manager. Too good.

In terms of barcraft-able tournaments in our time zone, GSL's are the easiest ones, and some european ones are also feasible. For example, IEM Hannover ran on sat and sunday from 1830 til about 0230 Adelaide time. Unfortunately I think the US tournaments do not run at good pub times... Columbus this weekend runs at like 0030 - 1030 Adelaide time...
