To answer how the groups were formed:

• I created a list of all of the participants, and the points they have earned throughout their ACL career.
• From this list, I broke them down into 5 different tiers, sorted from highest to lowest ranking.
• I distributed these tiers randomly, one at a time, across all 8 groups. So that's 1 person from each tier in each group. There is a hidden column in my spreadsheet which displays the randomly generated number for each player.
• Due to 10 of the 40 participants entering without any points whatsoever, the weightings look somewhat deflated when you consider RyooMak & YoonYJ.
• Over time, these numbers will even themselves out. Statistically, iaguz' group is stronger than Pokerface's, although in reality, it contains 3 players & 1 player.
• Statistically, we can assume that the first seed in each group (Tier 1 players) are "guaranteed" to make it out of their groups.

I don't mean to critisize Dox, but one of my boys (shockwave) wasn't awarded any points despite his performance at ACL Gold Coast. He managed to qualify for the group stage and although he didn't progress he didn't lose every game either. I'm just wondering what the go was with that. 3 of my players are going to the event, 2 of them being Shockwave and elimzke, so I'm just making sure they both get a fair shot at getting into groups.

Just Echoing Solis' statement before, FvRShOckWavE here, I participated at the Brisbane regional, and online qualifier for ACL GC, as well as in the group stage AT gold coast (Where I bombed out due to a few reasons, let's not go there), Just requesting the points be fixed up (I played the last events simply under the ID, Shockwave)

Hey! I did the points for ACL OR1 as well as ACL GC. I've had a look at this and you should actually have 728 points.

I'm not sure what's gone wrong here, but it should be fixed up soon.

...I dunno where you got 728 from but someone is clearly ******* with my spreadsheet. It's fixed now. Groups have been adjusted as a result.
