D3 IS GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!

Recently started playing the Beta again, and have been having an awesome time Hope to party up with some of the D3 Beta Key winners from the stream Dox and I did for TA v aLt. Mad props to Blizzard ANZ for those keys by the way.

The Beta is easy. Sure. A lot of people have been telling me "it's TOO easy to be enjoyable" and as a result are having seconds thoughts about the game. For starters it's ASTOUNDING how many people are quick to draw conclusions from Betas or even Alphas of games (that one's for you HotS pessimists) instead of adopting a wait and see approach. The D3 is a snippet of part of Act I on Normal difficulty which is the lowest possible casual difficulty.

Looking forward to the release Definitely gonna amp up the volume difficulty wise, those high difficulties in that video look insane. Re-playability ftw. Really hyped for this game and only getting more so every day The beta has been getting cooler every new patch too which is great to see.

So anyway end rant. This is probably common knowledge for a lot of you, just trying to help the mentality of a few who have played the Beta and were disenchanted. PM me your Real ID if you want to party up in the Beta I'm always keen

Mines stuck on 0.04MBs before its finished and I can play . tbh I'm kinda glad that aparently it is easy as I havent played Diablo in like 4-5 years.

Yeah, the Beta is pretty simple. It's more showing off the GUI and gameplay rather than offering a challenge Still really good fun.

It was stock on something (I don't remember what) but eventually finished. The downloader might have a bug or something but definitely worked fine for me I've been playing it

Thank god, I thought my sensual Babenarde was whining about the difficulty being too easy when I saw the title. I should've known you're too cute for that.

Yeah I thought it served its purpose - showing you the general improvements of the game and letting you have a play around with abilities in 'low-stress' situations. Just lets people get a feel for it. That and it's only about 1/3 of the first act of the game; that's the equivalent of Blood Raven in D2 (i.e. not hard).

I liked it, found it fun to play. Definitely think the whole 'you will die' vid is cool for the harder difficulties, too.

I have lost many a life to blood raven , or at the least lots of pots and scrolls for so early on, hard as Necromancer when your summons only hit her summons and you have no CC yet !

I'm probably just bad though

Blizzard isn't EA who like to knock out a half assed game annually. Otherwise they wouldn't have anywhere near the quality or fanbase of their current titles

Omg I know what you mean T_T It's actually due out around when HotS is supposed to be released, hopefully they're not too close together or I'd never sleep. Ever. Seriously.

You don't need to replace (unless it's corrupted), you can just put another one in there! It's ezpz

I know this is a bit off-topic. But I really hope 1-60 takes a while(around 200 hours game-time more or less) , so it's a feat hitting max level.. Whether or not that's the case, inferno mode looks promising

I played with Demon Hunter and found it quite easy. However, I then tried Monk and it turned out to be much more difficult (relatively speaking, of course). I think a lot of it has to do with class. DH is really easy for what's offered, probably because it's ranged. Idk. But it's just Beta, I don't read too much into it. The game will be kick ass.

Man, the beta was way too easy! I was fortunate enough to get a key from nirvAnA's give-away contest yesterday to gift to my friend and we both started playing today. We created our first characters (barb + demon hunter) and beat the game in a little under two hours. We remade new characters (witch doctor and monk) and this time beat the game in an hour and a half. And finally, we rerolled a demon hunter + wizard and this time finished the beta in a hour. Granted, our highest level character is only level 10, but our gear is decently maxed out with uniques and our blacksmith is level 4 already. It's ridiculous how little content there is! Still, D3 should be a promising game once it's released!

There's no necromancer, but the Witch Doctor feels pretty similar.
