The weekly SC2SEA BSG is a 64 player, single elimination style tournament.

Tournament Details
Date: Saturday February 11th 2012.
Time: 8pm Sydney time ; 5pm ; 10pm

Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: You must be in the Bronze, Silver or Gold league (1v1 - SEA license) and you must be active on ladder.
Everyone will be checked for typical smurf activity designed to keep them in a lower league.
Prizes: The winner of the BSG each week is awarded with one hour of professional coaching from a coach in this thread and...

Rules and Regulations

• You must contact your opponent on Battle.net preferably by being in chat channel "sc2seaBSG" to play your match
• You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 10 minutes will be disqualified. This 10 minute timeout rule applies throughout the tournament.
• Tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed and the only ones to observe your game
• There is no switching of race during the tournament.
• Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
• Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by pm to an admin
• Disconnects: If a player disconnects, the game must be replayed. If a player disconnects for a second time, his opponent will be awarded a free-win. A win may also be awarded if the player that disconnected was significantly behind at the time of disconnection. Contact an admin if you would like your game/replay reviewed.
• Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
• Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and I'd like to see it stay that way.
• Replays: Should be saved at least until the following tournament. Anyone asked by admins to provide a replay who cannot do so will be disqualified.

Round of 16 bo1 on GSL Bel'Shir Beach
Quarter Finals bo3 on MLG Metalopolis
Semi Finals bo3 on MLG Tal'Darim Altar
Grand Final bo5 on MLG Xel'Naga Caverns

For finals rounds that are best of 3 or 5, loser of previous game may pick any map from GSL or MLG as per the following list:

My congratulations and thanks go out to all the participants who helped make the tournament run fairly smoothly and definitely made it a lot of fun.

I hope everyone who stuck around enjoyed the cast and especially the exciting five game grand final set where we saw FaDeMuss take out salsaRON three games to two. I think everyone who saw the grand final set would agree these players put on a great show and were very evenly matched displaying some good macro and attack timings.
