Small update - Added google map functionality to make it easier for tournament organizers to give directions. Just type in the address like this

Trying to improve the house clan features on the site. Now whenever a forum that belongs to a clan forum gets posted, the navigation window of that clan is displayed.

This is a trial so i've only done the SPR one so far. Benefit is more people start posting in their clan forums, easier to access pages and people viewing them can find out more about the clan easier. This also means i edited the clan home navigation slightly so the layout is consistent across the page. (Navigation now appears at the top)

Want to know comments or if this change is good or un-necessary. Or if anything can be improved (colors, etc) If theres positive feedback I will do this up for all the clans if not i'll just revert.

Hey Nirvana, Is there any way we can have the "new comment" icon in the news and tourney feeds like we do on the forum threads? for example say you wanted to look at the SEACL tier 4 tourney announcement with 41 messages, and wanted to see the new ones, you have to do it all manually.

I can understand the reasoning of not wanting massive "NEW" icons all over the site, but could there be some sort of low-key option to go straight to the first new comment?

Great suggestion! I tried to figure out how to do that when i first implemented this news system for over 2 hours before giving up in frustration. it was especially annoying cause it involved editing the .php file directly instead of templates. Maybe paperclip can save me again haha

this is really cool. looks awesome too. as for unnecessary i dnt think its bad think it gives people more options and more options is always a good thing imo so +1

I agree, it's not like its a massive piece of screen real estate that gets in the way - I think that depending on the person it might not make any difference but for many others it will be great.

However maybe clans should be able to choose which pages appear because a lot of clan profiles are incomplete/non applicable.

alright added finished adding the clan menus for all clans. the nav bar will appear at the top of every thread that is posted in their clan forums.

Yea Peteraeus clans actually do have that choice when submitting their House Clan application they can specify what menus they want.

done! This was solely thanks to paperclip who helped me with the code thank you!! (He also saved crazerks deleted account lol, poor crazerk so unlucky his user account got corrupted and deleted when site suddenly crashed while it was writing to the db)

Actually paper, none of the popups work for me, or any of the buttons on the Reply to Thread widget. And when I rep someone, instead of opening the popup it loads it as a separate page. You have any idea what could be causing this? I assume it's the same thing that's killing the chatbox for me.

What browser are you using? Sounds like all the Javascript is broken. If using Chrome or Firefox with Firebug, can you right click -> Inspect Element on the page and see if any errors come up in the Console?

Haha. I didn't know that was built into Chrome. That's awesome.

I get a tonne of errors. I think it mostly comes down to something being 403 Forbidden and then a bunch of other stuff relying on said forbidden element. :/

Ah, I didn't realise it was open for anyone to add events to, sorry. Just assumed it would be locked down to admins.

What scope of events is the calendar intended for? ie:

* sc2sea.com events only, or;
* sc2sea.com events and other events in the SEA region, or;
* sc2sea.com events, other events in the SEA region, and major international events (MLG, GSL, IEM etc.)?

I expect it's the second option, but best to be sure

Just one comment. Can you please add a "HOME" button inline with the "CONTACT US"
FAQ etc. It gets us straight back to the Chat Room after reading the threads, instead of clicking "BACK TO TOP" and "HOME"..... Ta.
