Mini BSG Tournament By Team InVsioN

Greetings, some of you may already know Team InVisioN but for those of you who aren't familiar with us, we are a SEA Team that was established just recently by iVnDomo and myself.

We are just looking to keep the BSG players or sc2sea entertained as there haven't been too many BSG tourneys of late (from when I last checked)

This tournament is a Ro32 single elimination Bo1 style tournament (Until semis) with 1 hour free coaching from a Team InVisioN player for the winner and 2nd place .

Date : 3.2.2012 (Friday)
Time : 3 PM SGT . 6 PM AEDT
Live-Stream : Anyone who is willing to cast.
Venue : SC2 South East Asia, chatroom “InvisionBSG” .
Registration : Please reply to this thread with your in-game ID and character code.

Eligibilty : You have to own a copy of SC2 South East Asia as the tournament will be held there. Anyone above the skill level will not be allowed to participate.


All results are to be PMed to iVnStinger.782 by the winner of the match.

· Players who are 15 or more minutes late to their games will be disqualified
·If any disconnects occur within the first 5 minutes of the match, the game is either replayed. Or if a player is to disagree, the replay is to be sent to myself to decide. Please do not send the replays unless you cannot come to an agreement, or if you are certain you need it to be replayed as this wastes time.
·Smurfing(higher level players playing on lower level accounts) or cheating (map hacking, stream cheating) is strictly not allowed. Again, if you feel this has happened, please send me the replay.

Not trying to take anything away from you guys, because its great to see more people supporting eSports and in particular BSG, but the z33k weekly is on Saturday nights at 8pm AEDT.

Just a suggestion to move it earlier so people can participate in both if they wish? Or to change day so theres no overlap? Unless you are supremely confident that you can finish the tourney in 2 hours.

It IS very close in timing...
I would like to play in this by the way; it'll be nice to play for a change.

Sunday means I can play... Would be good to get some stuff on sundays from time to time anyway, because everything seems to be on saturdays. Although maybe things areb't on sundays because no one is usually around?

BTW, you say it's bo1, then the map pool says loser can pick from the following... When does it stop being a bo1?

Seems like at least a few people would like to enter both, maybe specifically ask the people who have expressed interest in your tourney if earlier Saturday or Sunday would be better for them?

I think if their is 32 players, at most the top 8 will miss out on being able to do both. In my opinion he majority of BSG games don't go over half an hour. So I don't think there will be such a big clash.

Hmm, single elim bo1, if everyone's there on time etc it might not clash too much... still, if this was gonna be a regular/regularish thing, another day/time would be easier
