For Australian internet users. Internode recently was bought by iinet. Although it will be run as a separate company. It is something to keep an eye on. I personally am interested if internode customer will now get free day 9 as per iinet.
If you want to see any information on it there are links on the internode website in their new section. I know a few people around here use internode so it will be worth keeping an eye on things as they happen while the deal is put into effect.
I heard about this on Christmas from my brother, I don't know what to make of it to be honest.
I've always liked Internode but I am curious to see whether or not there's extra costs on data rates or issues with internode servers for games like TF2 and other similar things.
Certainly gonna keep watching it because I was planning on hooking up with Internode once I moved out.
I'm with internode, and i hope my net somehow gets better when laddering on korea (in regards to lag spikes) - how that happens if it does i'll never know!
The announcement was the 23rd, Ive just been on holidays away from computer access. It was bit of a bombshell for those working with internode not 100% sure if their job is stable past feb. Im sure they will try to keep it as many people as they can but chances are a few people are going to lose their jobs because of it. I have a friend who just moved interstate with the company he is a might unhappy about how much information he is getting about things and the timing.
