Ideally they would have had mma vs sen and polt vs xigua to determine the seed.

The way they went about it, by saying that polt was the wcg seed and mma is the blizzcon seed is stupid though.

yeah fair opinion.. but the cup was for the first place finishes for selected events... Mvp qualified for his BlizzCon finish. Then the next top three GSL points finishers were invited (NesTea, MC and MMA)...

The only player that came close to qualifying that didn't - might have been xigua, but they stated that if someone doubled up on qualifying they would invited the next GSL ranked player... which means Polt got preference over xigua. And imo the best players in the world were invited.
