Taking the game seriously is the only way to improve effectively. Most BM is people trolling or people who are just frustrated with their play and are venting. I've had my fair share of both dealing and dealing with BM, it helps me let off some steam after a losing streak, as rude as it is, it helps me in a way. (I don't bm every game haha)

I am generally quite polite when I play sc2 but I do tend to rage a bit at times. Last night I was tired and was playing my last game of the night. Some guy tried to all-in cheese me and after he lost started asking me for tips. I obviously abused the fk out of him.

Lol I got the worst BM for a half ass fourgate xD Far out the dude was so raging he swore F like at least 20 times and far out I was so noob for a like a 8 minute push it was so lol xD

As a player who only recently switched to maining on SEA instead of NA I found that NA players are a lot ruder. SEA players tend to GG a lot more, or are able to laugh at themselves when they lose terribly whereas on NA I found a lot of the players are horribly sore losers that use any opportunity to have a cry.

Other than that the BM isn't too bad...unless you play team games. Therefore I only play with people I know ^.^

I never understood but it was funny. He wasn't really all that bad, but he never teched and had the most unfavorable building planning so my Collosi walked up to his Marine Marauder mix at 18 minutes on Delta Quadrant and not only did he have to squeeze through a wall off, he had built another barrack behind the wall off. Like 2 lanes of units squeezing into 1... :/ He outmacro'd me

I think SEA players are generally very nice, and also quite caring and loving as well.

Today I lost my 4th 1v1 in a row against a zerg with burrowed roaches, and I couldn't land my cc to scan so I said "not a gg

" and left. In retrospect bm of me, but after the game the guy messaged me saying "you're cute

; gg" to which i replied "

ya too!".

Yay spreading the love

maybe instead of gl hf we can say

you at the start of the games ^^

Oh I tried that, doesn't work so well lol T_T, I think 'eat a di$# bit%#' was the usual response.

If I'm feeling particularly sassy I'll say 'thx' in response to 'GLHF'. I don't typically gg 'one base play' unless their micro was amazing.

What someones using my lines everytime someone BM's me i just reply "lol your cute"

and no one ever says anything after lol i love it

I don't understand BMing. . .in any game. . . theres always an even chance to win, if a zerg 6 pools me and i loose, its my fault because i should be ready for a 6 pool?sort of....i atleast know that its a posibility. . .

as for people BMing against me. . . i 4gated pvp, survived a 3gate timing and was told i was a noob :/

I remember I 4-gated a terran who went 3 rax, 1 factory without grabbing an expand (therefore not really having much of an army). After the game he was like "sorry, bad game =)" and left.

I think its funny that its seen as bad manners, not just raging. It is as if you do not belong if you have bad manners. In other games, people say lol he raged and never talk about it again. But in starcraft, its a big deal. Funny looking at the difference in opinions.
