Have you experienced problems with previous Masters players being demoted to Diamond and then beating everybody? It seems like the rule is a bit strict by saying that if you were Masters in ANY of the seasons then you cannot join.

Not really. It more an issue of defining players skill level. Getting into Masters isn't easy for most GPD players. Main aim of this tournament is to provide an event for those in the middle leagues.

Like Badger says, more of a broad rule, so don't have to judge everyone on a case by case basis, as determining a players skill that way would be quite tricky.
