For a long time i thought the entertainment of highlight movies (like FRAG movie highlights from games like cs, quake etc) were something that sc2 just wouldn't be able to pull off with the same level of entertainment, which was disappointing to me because frag movies were something i absolutely loved about the FPS scenes i was involved in.

However this is by far the best sc2 one I've seen, and possible better than any BW highlight movie I've seen. Incredibly entertaining and definitely worth a watch, Figured I'd share it for all those who might miss it on reddit/TL. If you have friends who play sc2 casually (enough to know the units and what the abilities being casted do etc.), this is something to show them to let them know just how cool the pro games can look, as its short, shows nothing but action, and some of the skill showed is pretty amazing.

That was pretty sick. Nestea deserved a better highlight though, should've been the spinecrawler push.

Love the effects and the camera work, but I thought the clips could've been better selected. The puma/huk one was really good, but not all of them were up to that level. But overall nice job!

this is pretty sick, though I wish it didn't move quite so fast... I see all the flashes but can't see what they microd always

reason none of the 'frag' type vids since quake 1 have been quite as nerd chilling is because the moves that were possible in the basic physics of quakeworld could be so cool, and so arsey and yet so difficult to pull off consistently (midairs, some of the best rocket jump tricks etc)

Amazing editing, I really want a good length film that makes my mouth hang open like I have seen of CS/Quake/Cod films. Content was pretty average but the editing made it the best one of SC2 I have seen yet.

actually yeah I also like q3 cuz though not as fast, it's still very fast and lots of arsey potential

editing and sound on this particular vid is epic...

On another note.. except for that quake in a browser thing (which is amazing but seems to match up against lots of overseas players)... I wonder why q3 and q4 never did take off in the same way (lots of mods, clan arena, team arena, rocket arena etc etc)

I should find out tho, does that browser quake have said mods going? asking since you're obviously a q3 fan

i wouldn't say im a q3 fan, i just try to stay on top of everything if i can

afaik quake live doesn't have osp/cpma or even threewave (the ctf mod), but they've tried to incorporate the basic models of those into the game so you're not missing out.

it's not the same though =(

on another point, that movie was made by aussies ^.^

The editing for that video is actually insane, some of the best editing..

It says MVP under MMA's picture when they show the MMA highlight. :P
