No wonder I'm stuck in Gold. I couldn't get hold of becoming a Platinum. I remember last time I was told not to have my minerals floating for too long... I forgot who told me but he said "When you have the minerals, spend it. It ain't going to charity."

I'm Gold too and I have trouble spending minerals as well Usually I do well until I get mid-game supply blocked, because that really hurts your unit count.

I have problems getting enough minerals to produce lol. I don't really have a problem spending them. In the early stage of the game, its either you expo, build more pylons, or build up your army. A little into the mid-game, I start teching up and getting upgrades. But I'm too impatient. I keep going for all-ins =|

Also if you are well manner and a good individual in the community (which many people on this forum are) then you will find that others will respond to that positively and help you out with any problems in your gameplay. if you are a jerk to everyone then you wont get much help at all.

Agreed. I do think so as well. If it wasn't fun for the game, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place

all i have to say is macro hatchs are great for spending money ro just sac some lings in like a run-by to kill some drones
