Time of Rising Official Thread

It has been a fair while since I made an update thread in regards to our Clan. But Im pleased to announce to most of your guys who may or may not know, that im back after some time, with some technical difficulties with my laptop and then there was my Exams that came round faster then they should of this year D:

So anyway onto to the annoucements....

Over the last 6 months since the establishing of our Clan ToR (Time of Rising) we have had what I would call, quite a reasonable amount of success within the Starcraft and Sc2sea Communities. We started off from humble beginnings, from a bunch of dedicated predominantly BSG level players with the aim to improve our play and just have fun really ^^.

So now onto to our Clan today. We have actually have come a long way, in regards to the growth and success of the Clan. Our initial BSG level play has grown into large variety of players, with mainly GPD level of players with a number of Masters and Grandmaster Players also within the Clan.

We have also had a fair share of success in the more competitive side of the Starcraft 2 Community, with wins over a number of Clans in recent competitions, but we don't care about the winning or losing, its more the fun and enjoyment of the game

Also I would like to mention the successful establishment of the Sc2sea BSGCL and the GPDCL, that is run and also created by ToRSynizta and Erasmus respectively. A most admirable job that you guys have been contributing so much to eSports (Also big ups to Maynarde as well, mod of Sc2sea), well done all of you guys

. And also to Zanderax, who is starting up his weekly again

(Missed those good old days xD)

Clan Recruitment:

We now have a recruitment system that is hosted by our clan website on Sc2sea. Under "ToR Recruitment" is the form to fill out to apply to join ToR.

1.) Stay active on the Clan Chat Channel (ToR)
2.) Act friendly and relatively polite to others (BMing isn't really our style, its more trolling

)
3.) Try to stay active on the clan Website ( www.timeofrising.webs.com ) because I will be actively updating information on this site and we need to be actively using this site.

Also I do keep regularly updating on the Clan Facebook as well, with regards to Tournaments and Clan competitions and that. So stay tuned guys

There are those like myself who enjoy the team games but mainly people do practice matches gainst one another.
I'm always keen for a team game but I'm usually in another when I'm asked.

Hey spartaz you might wanna think about using the hosting available on sc2sea for our clan.. this site definitely gets a shit ton more traffic than our own website.. it might be a good choice to host our clan site here..

Any chance we can get a ToR vent channel sorted? I'm sooo over having to type in chat, when I know I can just press one button and talk instead

Would SC2 sea give us a vent channel?

Somewhere along line an old member had set up one on a uk server. Sea would probably be a better place but would many people use vent?

True that may not be as Viable, I prefer typing as im constantly busy working on other things. We could get one set up again. Vet did make one if i remember correctly... But no one showed much interest in it to be honest.
