The m18x came with 2x 500gb SSH's , they are only like $110 each if that , the 240gb ocz vertex 3 was like $500+ tho. The m18x was all up about $4200 before the ocz hdd i added to it my self but because im getting it via work (tax free , gst free , 12% off raa code xD) comes to just under 2400.
OOOOOOO nice link. I'm now scrolling through there seeing if they have cheaper options than Netplus, a shop local to me.

I bought all my stuff from MSY. So cheap and so stocked.
Dude thanks! Im looking at building my own/first rig by purchasing components fortnightly and I dropped into the MSY store in fyshwick (industrial area) but wasn't going to go back there cause I could see no price tags and assumed it was to expensive.
The rig I plan on building is basically the high end gaming build from build-gaming-computers.com/with alterations to suit my budget (feel free to criticise as it may help me make the right choices but im certain on the asus sabertooth p67 motherboard).
At the moment I'm using an asus notebook N61Jq series:
Intel i7 Q720 @ 1.6ghz (2.8ghz turbo mode)
4g ram (2x 2g sticks that I want to upgrade)
500gb seagate hdd 5400rpm
ATI radeon hd 5730
Windows 7, 64x bit
Sc2 razer peripherals: spectre, marauder and banshee (I place the marauder keyboard on top of the built in keyboard :P)
It used to run and still can at times, sc2 on ultra settings. ($1299 off eBay)
I want to get a ssd to replace the hdd in my current laptop but will probably just get one and put it in the laptop until the tower is ready for it.

MSY are -the- cheapest place in Aus... unless your budget is pushing $2K that motherboard will eat too much into upgrading something else, imo.
Dunno about *the* cheapest. I know of a shop in my area, only a local store, but still. [url=www.netplus.com.au[url] has cheaper prices on all the parts, such as motherboard and cpu's.
But it looks like in terms of coverage and price, MSY are definitely brilliant.

x2 Intel X2-M SSD
x3 WD VelociRaptor 600gb (raid 0)
i7920 - 4.6ghz
X58 SLI Classified (evga)
x2 580gtx 3GB
24gb RAM (some corsair 2000mhz low latency crap)
x3 27" samsung S27A950D (120hz is all I'm after really, 3D can be fun though)
I am however waiting for the Evga Super Record 3, 12 RAM slots, capable of running 4 dual GPUs and two CPUS. That's when i'll buy the 3 projectors and have them running as one huge 'screen'

i5-2500 (Dont need 2500k bcos im scared of OCing, and i7 isnt that big a change for $100+ :O )
GTX 570.
8gb ram
64gb SSD <-- Jizzworthy. For the extra cash, I would recommend one of these babies anyday (Although just gotta be careful with what goes on it
yeh thats the basics.
This thing is one of the pride and joys of my life. Lets just say its lucky I dont have a kid, or he/she would be both unfavoured, and neglected.

Intel i3-530 - OC'ed to 4GHz
8gb G Skill Sniper 1333 - OC'ed to something i can't remember xD
500gb WD
2x Other HDD"s i can't remember xD
22"/19" Monitors
GTX 460
700W PSU
Coolermaster 692 Case
Windows Pro 64 Bit
My PC can surprisingly run games still
Cpu: Intel e4400 Dual core
GPU: Leadtek 8800GT borrowed from a friend as my previous card died
Ram: 4GB DDR2 (2GBs are borrowed from said friend)
1x 1TB HDD 1x 500GB HDD
1x Viewsonic 24" monitor (my brother has killed a couple of pixels in it by firing a glove gun inside)
1x ASI 17" monitor
By no means a beast, best thing about it is all the storage space and the dual monitors.
I built mine at the start of the year. Been happy with it thus far. I don't "need" an upgrade, but should I find myself being able to afford to I will take the chance.
Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93
Corsair H50 Cooler
Asus P7P55D-3 Pro
16GB G.Skill DDR3
2x Galaxy nVidia GTX 460 SLI
OCZ Vertex 2 60GB SSD for OS and SC2
2x 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDDs in RAID-0
Samsung Blu-Ray drive
Corsair HX-850
2x BenQ G2420HD 24" monitors
My desktop is pretty much this but NVIDIA 560ti cards instead. Might update them soon.
Also I have an nzxt phantom. Probably overkill on the case
And I just purchased an msi gt780dx for lans.
