FF is very strong in the early game but it is what protoss needs to get started. FF also means that a Toss turtles in their base and can only stay on that one base while the other player is allowed to expand. Nothing says "Beating 1 base protoss" like a 3 base Zerg.
In late game though FF is much less useful as massive units are there to crush them. In the end it's just something people will have to get used to and stop BMing about.
In PvZ i dont think i see Ultra's that often, just because usually one of the teams has won already by that point.
Theres nothing more frustrating than having those speedlings seperated from their roach buddies by two or three forcefields. I think FF are one of the only things that stops Protoss being underpowered. The ability to force your opponent to do what you want by forcing them down a path, or splitting their units up forcing them to retreat, is absolutely crucial.
No need to change the FF's. They're great the way they are, and they're amazingly useful to every smart protoss player.

I think you missed my point my point was forcefields are too powerful thus the rest of things are weaker because of this. Which means a single miss used force field at best is just a waste of a powerful resource at worse it is something that hinders you and costs you a powerful resource. Im arguing they are two powerful from a protos angle making them to much of a dependency.

I think that just means that Protoss players have to really concentrate on the FF micro. What you have to focus on is different for each race.

Oh well that i definitely disagree with. Using that logic, Queen injects are OP as well. Protoss have much bigger food for much less units. Forcefield is the only thing that allows them to take on an army of a similar food and upgrade amount. A misplaced forcefield might be a waste of a powerful resource, but then again, forgetting to inject with queen's is too, and so is forgetting to use mule's as a terran.
