Im with everyone here. Postpone it since it coincides with Brisbane WCG and give more notice for the invites + open tournament. Best to PM Dox and then liase with him, he will provide some great feedback to help you run the tournament smoothly and successfully. Hey Nirvana just a little insight into the comp the "GIGABYTE E-Sports Championships 2011 Starcraft 2 Invitational tournament" is going to be happening a RESPAWN LAN #22 its a mutli game LAN (COD, CS, TF2, etc etc) that occurs in Melbourne, Australia probably 3-4 times a year, so GIGABYTE would have to pull their tournament from the LAN and then find a new LAN venue/event to join with (which City Hunter would be more than happy to do )

I will be trying to contact Gigabyte tomorrow to see if we can get more details and make them aware of the communities concerns with it clashing with WCG Brisbane as I believe the person posting this is simply a member of the community and not the tournament organizer

The 'ESports Daily' account here belongs to Darren Kwan as far as I know, who is the person behind ESports Daily (surprisingly) and is closely related to Team Immunity (which is running this event).

Either way, I'd imagine they wouldn't want to have it in Sydney if they can't have it in Melbourne, but I dunno

haha I was joking I know theyd probably want to still have it in Melbourne if it was to be moved but yeah no harming in putting our name forward :P
