That wasn't net lag, that was your pc lagging. NA was fine for everyone else until the actual network started lagging.

WCG Sydney = Epic and i got to sit behind glade on the plane back, but it was easily the worst use of $400 I've spent hahaha

I doubt it. $30 isn't too much, I know silver players who are considering entering just to have some fun and see how they go.

Did you forget to un-cap your FPS in the config file?
Although I had similar issues as well, on both SEA and NA. (Even after fixing the config and the in-game settings)
