Welcome to Intothenet's BSGP 2v2 Team Tournament will be starting next Thursday, 11 August.
The event is a 32 team 2v2 Tournament, elimination style tournament. Prizes range from $20 First Place, 5$ Second Place, 5$ Third Place. Sponsored by www.intothenet.net.

Round one will take place on Thursday, 11 August, 2011
Round Two will take place on Thursday, 18 August 2011
Quarter Finals will take place on Thursday, 25 August 2011
Semi-Finals will take place on Thursday, 1st August 2011
Grand Finals will take place on Thursday, 8 August 2011

Time: 7pm AEST +10GMT

Location: SEA

Tournament Eligibility: 1v1 Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum last season or this season. Diamond+ 2v2 teams will be disqualified.
How to join: Post both you and your teammates names and character codes. Also post your Team Name.
Example:
TeamName: Wise folk
Player 1: Joe.123
Player 2: Afro.321
Chat-Channel:intothenetbsgp2v2. If said channel is full, replacement channels will be created.


Rules:
All replays to be saved and sent to theincursion@gmail.com
All results will be messaged to DayNine.281, Combatkid.585 in-game.
Disconnects that happen in the first 3 minutes of game-play will be replayed unless the game was obviously in the opponents favor.
Any arguments will be settled by Tournament Organizers or refs.
If any smurf players are found, they will be disqualified and blackmarked for later tournaments hosted by, www.intothenet.net.

Ro32:Best of One: Players may veto and decide which maps they would like to play between themselves.
Ro16:Best of One: Refs will choose the map for each team.
Quarter Finals:Best of three:Refs will choose the first map for each team, and losing player will choose 2nd/3rd maps.
Semi Finals:Best of Three:Refs will choose the first map for each team, and losing player will choose 2nd/3rd maps.
Finals:Best of Three:Refs will choose the first map for each team, and losing player will choose 2nd/3rd maps.

Correct, it runs from 11th August to the 8th September, thanks for clarfying.

And not to leave out the fact that on this thread only like 4 people have registered. no. 1v1 is the bracket that determines if your eligble.

No I'm pretty sure it's not happening tonight, I think it had to get put off because of lack of teams joined. If it is tonight I haven't seen anything about it either.

And you can cross out the below team because partner is on a skiing trip. If he's back before this gets underway we'll def be in it though.

Just a suggestion if this tournament didn't start yet because there is not enough teams, maybe you should put the gaming time a bit later or shift it to weekends. Because at 7PM AEST on weekdays it is quite difficult for players in singapore or other countries on GMT+8 to participate.
