FXOmOOnGLaDe will be at DAY TWO playing show matches against the tournament winner! This means he will not be participating in the competitive part of the event.
Over half of the positions in the tournament have now been occupied. Time is running out for any players in Brisbane who haven't signed up yet and want to participate!
whats your position on spectators? i'm interested in coming to the second day matches to see the games played, but i'd be willing to sign up in order to spectate too
Any way of getting a list of players of who have signed up? I got no confirmation or anything after my registration email.
Confirmation emails have been sent.

The tournament will be available online on a live-stream during DAY TWO. Also, I am currently dealing with a few options regarding live spectators at the venue.
I have had a lot of sign-ups in a short amount of time and if the current sign-up rate keeps up the tournament size could be extended to 64 players. I note that in the event 64 players show up at the tournament and participate, the prize pool would most likely jump up another $200. If you have already signed up, tell your friends in Brisbane and help sky-rocket this tournament!

A couple of computers will be available for use of playing the live-stream.
I don't understand if there's 32 players all paying $10 entry ($320 total), why is there only a $70 prize pool? The other $250 going to elysium?
The venue will keep an amount of money gained from the entry fees as it is not a free service. Also, your figures are slightly off as there are more details you don't know.

I figured Elysium would take a decent cut. It's not the biggest Lan in the world so a 64 or even 32 player tournament is likely to take up most of the computers for the whole day. Understandably they want some compensation.
Looking forward to it in any case.
