Very bad decision. At night, you can't see anything beyond the light's circle. It is completely black for human eye. If you turn all light sources off, your pupils will enlarge, enhancing light perception, and you will actually have better chances to catch approaching mafia. I'm an outdoorsman and spend at least a week hiking in the mountains every august with friends. When we are behind schedule, we walk at night, and we have all flashlights off. Much safer and better vision, tbh.
