Majority haven't voted for him. 10 votes is a majority, in which the day ends and he is killed off. If there is no majority by the deadline, then whoever has the most votes is killed.

Benji is there going to be a trial system?

Basically the person can make his case of why he is innocent and we then decide if he is guilty or innocent.

Their trial period is when they start to get close to being voted. If they don't make a good case, then people leave their votes on, and others put the final votes on.

I guess now would be a good time for it, considering we would need time to get another target if he does provide the goods.

There will be no trial system, or anything of the sort. Once the votes are done, the player is killed off.

It doesn't matter, all citizens need to do ti win, is to keep informant and vigilante alive. Vigilante can pewpew mafia anyday.

one question, the informant can only tell the vigilante the information he receives but he is unable to tell anyone that he is the informant right?

The Informat can message the Vigilante the information and he/she can post it in this thread if he/she choses to, however if he/she choses to post the information in this thread, the Mafia will most likely kill the player in the nighttime phase.

Btw, I assume we will be told who we killed, right? So if we kill mafia, we know how many mafia is left.

Let's have a citizen volunteer to deceive mafia into killing the wrong guy. The plan is as follows:

1) We get a good clue who is mafia
2) Citizen posts that he is informant and confirms the kill
3) Real informant gets vigilante to kill the mafia
4) Mafia goes for "informant"
5) Next turn, informant+vigilante kill 2nd real mafia.

We trade 1 citizen for 2 mafia. Since there are more citizens than mafia, this will work wonders, and citizens will win eventually just by pure math. Ahoy, citizens, let's do it!

Without a trial this is complicated a lot. But because most of us are citizens we can't prove we're citizens because we have no special ability and no way of finding out extra information.

Basically, we could try random lynch and hope to get lucky or rely on the informant/vigilante combonation to go om nom nom nom all over the mafia's face.

@Next_Rim in theory that works but let's face it, 5 mafia,18 of us, 1 informant, 1 vigilante. The informant has a 5/16 chance of scouting a Mafia so our chances are pretty slim.

5/16 chance... i like those odds! thats 30% chance of scouting out a mafia each time.. and lets say he scouts out a citizen... thats 1/3 chance that the vigilante kills off at least one mafia and 1/9 chance that he kills off 2 mafias in one fell swoop.

well I suspect that theres a good chance that some of the people who are mafia and voted for me are most likely the ones that voted after the 1st or 2nd voter, which makes it look less suspicous.
not only am i bringing solid points, but i am obviously talking in a way that the mafia can eat @#$%, so please dont vote for me
