We are happy to announce that we have just launched a new live chat feature on SC2Online!

It's very easy to use! You don't need to make an account - you can sign in with twitter!

Furthermore, you can maximize/minimize at your preference when viewing other sections of the site!

This is just one of many new features that will be released over the next couple of weeks, as we strive to find new ways to include, entertain and showcase our community!

SC2Online 2016 review by Eddie:

"It's fair to say we've had a few ups and downs this year. We invested a lot in acquiring the latest forum software and licence on the market, and while it was well received by the community, the newer version came with limited extras we could implement or edit like in previous versions. So ultimately we weren't able to display this component of the website to our expectation. As a result it was buried.

In hindsight it may be for the best, as we were using 2 different sets of software (forums and sc2online/wordpress weren't connected, only linked), and this was limiting/undesirable in a few ways. It could also be the case that forums are somewhat out of touch with newer communication styles, primarily social media. With our new chat we have been able to include social media ease of access while staying on site so that will likely be better in the long run.

Some of our planned website improvements have been pushed back due to other projects, such as announcing player sponsorships, bringing onboard a new league sponsor, improving the Championship format for 2016, announcing OSC Championship trophies, bringing new events/people into the league, and creating new events for players and fans to enjoy!

We have had a lot of great feedback for the way we present news!

We have had a lot of great feedback about our ability to display OSC League information and results.

These achievements and successes are a great foundation to build on moving forward!

Not only are we are committed to building a great SC2 League and opportunities for players, we are committed to growing the community in our home regions and a great place to access and enjoy it!

As our transition from our previous home draws closer to it's completion, we're excited about new improvements coming over the next few weeks, and the future ahead, and hope you are too!

Big step forward including a chat like this, I also like the appearance of the new profile bit/drop-down menu in the top right... Really looking forward to how you guys un-clutter things, I truly feel like this site still has a lot of potential.
