Hello,

My name is Crimson, that's my actual name, from Brisbane and I've just started playing SC2. I used to watch a bit a couple years back but never played. Never knew what I was looking at so stopped watching after a while. However, a few months back, a good friend of mine introduced me to StarCrafts on YouTube. Best. Thing. Ever. I watched it all and HAD to play the game afterwards. I also HAD to play Toss. Dat Zealot.

I started playing in... April I think, but struggled to get past level 2 training mode. Lame huh. So I wandered away from the game to play other things. But then, not sure what prompted me, last week I decided to get back into it and have played approx. 80 games. Got past level 3 training mode and moved on to vs A.I. Can beat Hard, but that's about it. My APM is only 20. I've been watching a lot of streams and replays from GMs but I'm not improving much. Just need to play more games I know, but the slow going is a little de-motivating.

I play on the NA server since it's more populated. Only 3 friends so far, could do with some more. Feel free to add me! Also any advice would be much appreciated. I don't really have a weakest match-up right now since I struggle against them all atm.

Anyways, I hope to be making some friends here so please drop a line and say hello.

Welcome to SC2SEA!

With the APM issue, the best thing to do is practice knowing what the hotkey on the keyboard is for everything and being able to touch-type so you can make things fast with the use of both keyboard and mouse. The next step is to have a plan of what you want to make ("I'm in a PvZ and I want to open Forge expo > Phoenix and go from there on what I scout") to reduce pause or thinking time. Finally I would suggest you play lots of games to hone your mechanics. I'm more than happy to help you out, if you see me on NA in the SC2SEA group, msg me and I'll run you though Protoss 101.
